"Dr. Lindsay McHale, DO, was dismissive, arrogant, and prejudiced. She did not want to do any tests or actually evaluate a sick 8 month old baby coming in for low oxygen saturation levels in her sleep whilst sick with RSV. She obviously wanted to discharge the patient and free up the room instead of following evidence based practice. She was dismissive of the concerns of the parent, prejudiced against the parents deciding to post-pone her vaccine schedule to one year, and stated that the three SPO2 meters reading the same number (and backed up by clinical evidence of lethargy and pallor) were inaccurate. She told the parents they were wasting their time monitoring her oxygen and to not be concerned until their baby turned blue. I hope this doctor doesn't cost a patient their life because of her arrogance and burn out."
"Was there six hours last night and they misdiagnosed my one year-old told me that her ears looked perfect. Take her to the doctor this morning and she's got a double ear infection would not recommend this place."
"My son just had ear tube surgery here this is his second time having tubes and this experience was way different then the last place we did it Hershey medical center in Pennsylvania at one thing I can say yes it not a long surgery but they really need to step up on there bed care. I didn’t like we were not allow to help my son go back when they put him under since he is autistic and have issue leaving him. once surgery was done they never took us back to recovery they just brought him out and discharge us. Unlike Pennsylvania we were in recovery and they monitor him and gave him some drink to make sure it was good. I personally think who ever runs this hospital need to go visit other child hospital and see how they really do care for these kids. It’s sad that Chattanooga doesn’t have a good children’s hospital that knows bed manners Erlanger you guys need to step up your games you might have better reviews is you do"
"We were visiting from out of town and my son fell and hit his head. The cut definitely required sutures to close it. We went to the ER on a busy Friday night and were seen as quickly and efficiently as could be imagined. All the staff were very friendly and professional. His cut is healing exceptionally well. I am a physician that rarely writes reviews but the staff needs to be commended on how well they did their job."
"The doctors, and nurses, especially the nurses, Lauren and Tamara on the 3rd floor, were such sweet angels to us!!! They truly love their job!!!! It shows through the care and concerns they had not just for my daughter’s health, but for our whole family. I will never forget you!!! I will forever be so thankful that you were brought into our lives during our darkest hours being saved and recovering from Covid!"
