"The staff and neurologist Dr Verson are extremely rude. They wouldn’t let me get a word in about my symptoms. I have persistent headaches that last over a month with no relief. He prescribed me 3 medications. It’s been one month since my appointment and I’ve called the office 3 times but they still haven’t sent my medication to the pharmacy. The appointment was a waste of time with no answers or medication and I’ve called my insurance to switch to a different office. I’ve only heard horrible things about St. Francis and anyone affiliated with them so I’d avoid them if I were you."
"DO NOT come here! My 80 year old mother has been coming here. Never sees a doctor only a NP or nurse. Over prescribed medication and don’t care about patients health. They are prescribing her opioids for pain that makes her a zombie and sleeps all day. Basically put her in her grave. Just say H€ll NO to this Place. You are only a $ sign to them!"
"We cancelled this appointment before we even went due to the rude nature of the staff. When you have an appointment at 4 in the afternoon and your told if you are 1 minute past 3:30 you will be cancelled and dropped and cannot reschedule for a Veteran who the United State Government is paying for your services, you have absolutely no business practicing medicine if you think you are so important that you cannot accommodate for the possibility of the person who is coming to see you may be at the mercy of a family member getting him/her to the appointment and said family member works and cannot get this person there by 3:30 but can be there before 4. I do not recommend going to see someone who is too good to be kind, courteous and empathetic."
"All of the One Star reviews should indicate that this doctor group has fallen off the cliff into the dredges. Now that St. Francis has taken over all of the physician practices, the service is even worse. The billing by St. Francis is fraudulent. They are billing doctor visits as outpatient care, causing patients to pay more out of pocket, and increasing insurance rates by billing higher priced line items. These are not outpatient offices. As many others noted, calling or returning a call is futile. I understand that their employees are paid the bare minimum, and thus their staff will be those that have to settle for minimum pay. However, I would still expect a level of professionalism when calling a doctor's office. I have been a patient at this practice for about 30 years, but I will be leaving to find a more competent office."
"Experiences with Dr. Womble and Carrie are still professional, informative and enjoyable. The call center system Saint Francis Columbus clinic has installed is an embarrassing joke. The lack of training for front counter check in staff borders on negligence. My latest example involved checking in for labs. I arrived 8:35am for 8:45 appointment. I have already visited a number of times this year so no need to arrive extra early for insurance changes etc. Gentleman who checked me in seemed competent. Waited through two cycles of lab groups being called. Although the sign has been taken down that said "if you haven't been called in thirty minutes" I finally asked the super sticker Mrs.V when she called for another group to check for me. After almost an hour waiting I am brought back to labs. The gentleman who checked me and other patients in for labs was doing it wrong and patients were processed out of the appointment log. Incidents like this have unfortunately become the new normal. LabCorp staff was helpful and professional."
