"We struggled at Kidcare Pediatric for years, Darnell wouldn’t give me any referrals. No matter my concerns as a mother, her opinion trumped mine. We left the office late last year after one or her staff members told her (I assume told her we got a letter) she was all about the check .. SHE IS! That’s exactly why she wouldn’t refer the girls to anyone with out the # of appointments to her office first. I honestly don’t remember saying it but I might have, 1 had strep multiple times in just a few months but they had “more guidelines” she had to meet before they would send a referral. I say all that to say one of my oldest friends told me about Mary Pozega. The kids first seen her in January. The apt went very well, she was so kind & took the time to talk to me with out rushing. She took my concerns into play & has since that very day. She referred 1 to get her tonsils out that day. Just over 2 weeks ago i called to see if we could come in (since covid restrictions were lightening up) later that day she personally called me to discuss my concerns about the kids allergies & immediately made the referral with out having us come in!!!!! She trusted my opinion & concerns!! Which were SPOT ON for My concerns! I would NOT RECOMMEND! I tried reaching out after receiving the letter my girls were not allowed back & she wouldn’t even take the time to talk to me, 8 years of seeing my kids & couldn’t give me 5 mins!"

"We love Dr Darnell and her staff. Her nurse, Brenda, is the best in the state for returning calls and listening to concerns. Our child has autism and Dr Darnell has been instrumental in his continued improvements in his health and well-being. We have been seeing her for 4-5 years and feel confident we made a great decision when choosing her as our child’s pediatrician."

"My concerns weren’t taken seriously. Just because It was my first child doesn’t mean I was over reacting. 6 years down the road my child is still dependent on a feeding tube and has poor growth. I feel like this Doctor should not be allowed to practice period. I would not take my child there if she was the only Doctor on earth. I feel in my heart that had I stayed with this Doctor my child would not be alive today."
