"Dr Hamrick has decades of experience as a surgeon- which counts for a lot when it comes to being inside the human body. My hernia surgery was evaluated & scheduled quickly (within a week) and was performed at Charleston Surgical (another great local business!) with no issues whatsoever. My recovery was relatively painless, the incision is neat and I had no infections. Dr Hamrick has a great bedside manner- very understated, not trying to impress or put you in your place. We did some quick calculations during the post-op check up and figured he has operated on many tens of thousands of people- now that is experience you can count on! Highly recommended, the horror stories are common with most folks and unless you are a habitually litigious person I can't fault a thing he has done or said- a very kind and gentle soul of ever there were one! Follow up review: I can't even tell I had surgery now. Dr. Hamrick's office was prompt dealing with billing & insurance, and there was no over- or double-billing (something I have seen several times in recent years with medical facilities)"
