"AMAZING GROOMING!!!!!! I am a mama to two golden-doodles and I am very protective over my girls. As soon as we entered Rustic Retreat Pet Spa, the staff began to shower my girls with love and care. I knew that my babies were in good hands. The staff members were knowledgeable about the breed, their hair texture, mannerisms and educating me about the importance of keeping my girls up-to-date with their grooming. Yes, it was worth the drive and the cost. Anyone reading this review, RUSTIC RETREAT PET SPA is the place for your fur babies. It is clean! The staff want the best for their clients. Oh! they fully communicated every step of the grooming process and what I could expect since my girl's hair was a little matted. Also, I appreciated that they took the time to communicate with me on the best grooming tools to use at home for my fur babies hair. Their level of professionalism is unmatched. "Bri, her husband and staff are great! We have a Yorkie and a Shorkie and both have been going here since they were babies. Both of our dogs are not always the easiest to groom, but Bri is always patient and gives great advice on training them. Pickle even gets excited when she hears Bri’s name. She loves going. Oliver is more timid but they are always patient. We are moving away and I know our babies will miss them, as will I. 10 out of 10! Highly Recommend!"

"My schnauzer looked like the groomer only got a third of the way done and then quit. The Aussie had clipper "gaps" on his rear end. Both were anxious (more than normal) when I picked them up."

"Wow! These people are incredible! I originally called to try to get my dog shaved because he has very thick hair and he gets hot. I have never had him groomed before and she said based on his breed mix that she would not recommend shaving him because it would grow back irregular or he could get sunburn. Very honest folks here because they could have just charged me the money and shaved him. She recommended a treatment called a furminator. I would also like to mention I had previously called petsmart to try to get him shaved and they refused to see him without a rabies shot, my dog barely leaves the house so I don't like having to give him shots if I don't have to. Rustic Retreat does not require shots for grooming. Today was our first time in and everyone greeted us like we were family. They let me stay with my dog the whole time to make sure he was comfortable. Bri was so amazing and gentle with my dog really catering to him and helping him stand during the process because he has arthritis. In fact she was so gentle my dog was giving her kisses while she was blow drying him. The whole crew was just so sweet and caring. They also adopted a dog that someone just dropped off and didn't want anymore. Super caring people, would give 10 stars if I could. Me and my dog will be back."
