High Point Haven

"We booked High Point Haven for a March girls getaway weekend. Jason was absolutely awesome and incredibly responsive in coordinating the reservation. Anytime I had a question, he responded within minutes. We were narrowing down the weekend getaway homes and honestly it was Jason that made our final decision easy - HIGH POINT HAVEN! The home is amazing. It is secluded with only a few other homes on the mountain road, but none we visible from the cabin. As you entered the home, it smelled wonderfully. So fresh and so clean. The home was impeccably clean and offered any amenity you could need. I am not just talking towels and shampoo. They had extra toothbrushes, first aid kid, coffee, tea, sugar, toothpaste, lotion, beach towels for the hot tub, laundry detergent ... I mean everything! The ambiance was beautiful outside and in. We enjoyed morning coffee and evening cocktails by the gas lit fireplace. The hot tub, which is off the laundry room near the kitchen, was awesome and where we spent our late evenings. Only suggestion would be to cover it or move to the covered deck as it rained much of our weekend. Didn't prevent us from enjoying it however! The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of space for our pantry and refrigerated items. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable with both decor and furnishings. The beds and linens were VERY comfortable. The upstairs nook was a perfect place to sit, read, journal, and store extra drinks. The wrap around covered deck was a perfect place to enjoy meals or just lounging in the afternoon. It was so peaceful. The weather was a bit rainy and cold, so we didn't get to enjoy the firepit. But there was plenty of firewood stocked if we needed it. The basement was a great hangout for adults and kids alike, but honestly we enjoyed the upstairs so much that we didn't even utilize the basement area. I would HIGHLY recommend High Point Haven to absolutely anyone looking for a mountain getaway. Family weekend, girls weekend, friend weekend, holidays - it's the perfect spot! We are actually looking into making this our annual girls getaway location because we loved it so much. I am also looking at taking my husband and three boys there for a family weekend getaway this summer. You can stop searching now, you've found your place! HIGH POINT HAVEN!"
