"Hotel is average, but main reason for only 3 stars is the breakfast area is very poorly managed. Only one person works both the counter and the kitchen, and has had a very poor attitude both times I have tried to get food. The interaction started both times by waiting 5 minutes just to even see them as they come out of the kitchen, then without any sort of greeting they say "Sir you are going to have to wait 5 mintutes". To put it in perspective, only one other person was anywhere nearby...nobody was sitting at the tables, so it is clear that a single order is overwhelming to them. Then after my second 5 minute wait, I asked for a breakfast burrito and it was met with "that will take at least 15 minutes..." Almost as if they were upset and wanted me to change my order. Honestly, if the hotel does not want to staff the restaurant with the right (or right amount of) people then they would be better off just closing their "restaurant""
"Small rooms with a noisy freeway next to it. When I asked to change rooms I was told that there were no other rooms available. This hotel is dated with paint peeling from the ceiling."
"After a horrible day of traveling it was pleasant to be greeted with such good customer service. The young lady and the front desk was friendly and helpful. The cleaning crew I came across throughout my stay also always said hello and asked how I'm doing. What I was really impressed with was the two ladies at the Bistro. I went down for a drink and something to eat and they not only were thoughtful and friendly they did a great job preparing the food and drinks. While I was there they got kind of busy but they did and amazing job greeting customers and helping them. I work in the service industry and impressed with the work ethic. as I said had a horrible day and those two ladies made my day better. The hotel itself is decent. Room was clean. Being next to the highway and airport it is a little noisy."
"Decided to book this room last minute when my husband and I missed our flight. We were able to get to this location easily with the shuttle service provided. The room was the typical Marriott style- clean and comfy. The staff was also attentive when needed."
