"Very cozy cottages. Very nice weekend getaway. We enjoyed our stay. Close to town. Penny was very nice and helpful. So was her husband. He met us at the cabin Helped us get in. We enjoyed the hot tub. We've stayed here before and will definitely stay again. Affordable nice and clean"

"My family ended up with last minute availability to travel over winter break but so many cabins were already booked. I ended up finding timberloft and spoke with the owner directly and she had one cabin left so we booked it! Having never traveled to the area before we were unsure what to expect. This cabin ended up perfect for what we needed and definitely was within our budget. The cabins are not large but it was plenty of room for our family of 4. The kids slept in the loft and a couple nights our little one slept on the couch just to have her own space. It was sooooo much better than a hotel room! With an indoor fireplace and a private hot tub, it was literally everything we needed! If you are the type of people who want to spend less money where you sleep and have extra money to spend on adventures and being out seeing the area, it’s honestly perfection. The location is amazing and allowed us to travel to many surrounding cities including, Cleveland, Dahlonega, Blue Ridge, and Clayton (all within an hour drive) and of course Helen which is only 5-10 minutes away. We filled the days with adventure and had a cozy little cabin to come home to with a fire and hot tub to relax after hiking! Penny and her husband who own the property were amazing to work with! Everything was so easy and they were always a text away to help with suggestions, firewood, and anything else we needed. We LOVED our trip and would come back to stay 1000%!!! We can’t wait for our next trip!!"

"Rating 5-stars for our stay so far. Impressed with cabin #3. Rented thru VRBO. Overall good value for amenities it offers. Good communication and hospitality from management so far. They left a birthday card and little gift on the bed. It’s somehow nicer than the impressions from photos. Impeccably maintained from what I can tell. Very clean. Fully equipped kitchenette with a mini fridge/freezer. Coffee is provided. Plenty of paper towels, dish soap, etc. Wood in the room for purchase to light a cozy, crackling fire during the chilly nights. Super clean hot tub with privacy curtains and a porch swing. This particular cabin happens to have additional privacy of plants out front. Shower nice and hot with adequate pressure. Bed comfortable. Soft sheets. Lots of towels and extra blankets. Loft would be great fun for the kids! We don’t mind this but may be a downside for some- it’s facing the road. Traffic is not loud but can be heard. They have other cabins in a wooded area. Sheltered picnic area with hammock and tables. There’s a fire pit with lots of seating."

"My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and absolutely loved it! Our cottage was perfectly sized for two people (although if you had one or two kids I think it would still be comfortable). Loved the jacuzzi! They are close enough to Helen but without being right in town. I love how many nice hiking trails are nearby too! We hiked the double waterfalls at High Shoals Falls Trail (north 75 a little ways). It's close to Raven Cliff Falls too, but that trail was closed due to forest fires. I highly recommend staying here. Great place at a great price...one we could actually afford!!"
