"Hotel industry quality has been slipping for decades. This, however, is my biggest disappointment. Newly remodeled room smelled musty and moldy. New Paint, but paint did not cover up holes in walls. Tub surround was peeling off of the wall. Trim ring on shower valve had fallen off. Absolutely wasted my time and money"
"First off the woman who checked my co-worker and I in had a terrible customer service attitude, she was not friendly and acted as if we were bothering her by her having to do her job! I did not get her name (it was at 6:30pm on 2-6-24 if that helps the owners figure out who this was). The rooms are dated, the computer desk is a joke, it’s up so high you could not use a keyboard easily and the pull out table below it to get lower will not work at all beings it will pin you between it and the bed. The walls could use some paint, the bathroom was also dated with marks all over the wall by the toilet, I had to twist the hell out of the cold water handle in the bathtub to get it to stop running. Over all I will not stay at this location again, we just spent the prior two nights at the Comfort Inn at 3465 Rose Clark cir location and it was much nicer and the staff was by far more friendly!"
"Pros: Good Location, building is fairly new, bed was clean. Encouragments: Staff was inhospitable as they would not change my room to the 3rd floor (The noise above was waking me up through the nights) though I asked 3 days in a row. The first night, they said they were full and that my refrigerator would be out of service in my room. The second day, they told me I had to check after noon. The third day, they told me I had the check at 11. On the third try, the lady didn't even walk to the front to tell me face to face; she just spoke loudly from the back office. Staff is not eager to help you-- even to get a roll of TP. My bathroom was stocked with half used little shampoo, conditioner, and TP; I've never seen a Comfort Inn not fully restock a room. Showerhead has red mold on it, too. Breakfast was lowest common denominator with machine, concentrate coffee and low brand yogurt. There was no complementary water in the lobby. Compared to other Comforts, this hotel cuts corners, charges more, and delivers less. All in all, I'll be back in Dothan for decades, but I won't be back here."
"Front desk people were nice. When we looked at room, my husband went down there to tell them about switching me to a handicapped accommodations in the bathroom. Then, she told my husband there are no other rooms available. Well, this hotel chain should have more handicapped accessible rooms. Another thing, put a wheelchair on the 1st floor not higher. Your bathroom had one rail, no rails by toilet, not enough towels in room, and #1 no roll in shower for a wheelchair. I'm adding pictures to show you what a handicapped bathroom should look like. I hope that a lot of people share this post. I hope ADA sees this as well. THIS HOTEL SHOULD HAVE ACCOMODATIONS IN THE BATHROOM FOR A WHEELCHAIR?!?! Your room that your front desk person said it had handicapped accommodations in bathroom. Well, my bathroom (221) was NOT?!?! The pictures below is what should have been in my bathroom."
"We were greeted immediately and courteously. Check in was quick. There were some noisy guests across the hall that made it harder to get to sleep. The noise was more as people were coming and going until after midnight. The room was clean but the swivel chair wasn't able to be raised up. The bed was very comfortable. We will probably stay there again."
