"Made last-minute search for open spot in area campgrounds. Old Federal looked promising. Booked the reservation for spot #80. Fantastic spot. Also.. Campground host was the best kind helpful. Great campground but don't tell anybody."
"Good campsites. Beautiful views. Some campsites don't have shade at all. So, if you are tent camping, please choose your sites carefully. If you are in an RV, you may not care much."
"This is one of my favorite campgrounds. My friends and I frequent here several times a year. There is a boat ramp which is handy. As well as awesome lakeviews. Unlike some other campgrounds, the host campers are super nice and really make the stay enjoyable."
"I camped here for a couple of days in August. It is a corp of engineers' location and is a good value. The sites had a concrete pad with a sand/gravel area with a firepit and table. Many of the sites are waterfront. The best sites are on a peninsula, I think, reserved for tent camping. Great sunset views over the lake out there. The sites have 20, 30, and 50 amp breakers and water at each camp site. There are no sewer hookups, but there is a dump station on the way out. It was nice to get out and walk late in the afternoon. There are at least 2 bath houses, but I didn't go inside, so I can't comment as to the condition. There were kids riding bikes, music, campfires, and food cooking. Great place for fun."
"The couple that manage the campground now are awesome! We have stayed here in the past and it was horrible. The views of the lake are gorgeous and the weather this weekend is perfect. One campsite is closed due to a fallen tree but all other sites are full."
