"Terrible place to stay. Staff is unengaging and rude. Racist staff!!! Front desk guy "Jarvis" said Hilton would not give me refund if I didn't want to stay because the room was dirty. He proceeded to ask what my wife's full name was as if she was some protistute I found on the street. When we asked for a manager "Jarvis" and the other goons at the front desk said and I quote "We don't know who the manager is". Will never make the mistake again. We checked out of a paid room after just an hour and went to the Omni where we were treated like we should have. No one should endure the pain and agrivation we went through."
"Terrible hotel rooms. Ended up switching rooms 2 times. First room the AC was not working correctly and while on cool it continued to get hotter and hotter. Second room had the same problem but on top of that you could see where there was a leak and the wall paper had been stabled together. Growing on the walls was dark mold. The staff eventually found me a room with a working AC. However event then the shower was out of soap. Phones didn’t work to call the front desk so had to use hallway phones, and faucets kept water dripping."
"Booked a room online for this hotel for 1/5/24 for 1 night. Guy working check in was nice and friendly got right in to our room. That is the extent of the good. We had to pay $30 for parking that wasn't mentioned online when booking the room. The room smelled like cigarette smoke and mildew. We tried to ignore all that as it was late and we needed to get to sleep so we could be up early to finish a long drive home the next morning. About 30 minutes after falling asleep, my wife and 3 kids as well as myself are woken up by the fire alarm going off telling us there is an emergency on our floor and to evacuate. After jumping out of bed and getting our kids up and down to the lobby the employee is telling people its a false alarm but they don't know why the alarm is still going off. Families with little kids are crying as they are all freaked out, fire department is inside with axes and full gear on as if there were a real fire. Alarms still screaming away. After an hour we had enough and left. Making matters worse, they apologized and said they would refund our room charges (We had been there around 3 hours max at that time) next morning a new worker says they are not refunding rooms and that his GM a miss Sylvia I was told, is firing the other worker for telling people they would comp their rooms for this fiasco. They offered a free breakfast as their solution. My room was refunded but parking was not. I was told miss Sylvia would fire the worker if he refunded parking so I have to call Hilton directly or wait until the next day to call back and talk to Sylvia directly about the $30 parking fee. Terrible way to take care of your customers. And apparently they do not train their employees at all for emergency situations. Nobody knew what was going on. Would not recommend this hotel. Go next door to the Hampton. Much nicer place."
"Terrible experience. The rooms had no heating in the middle of winter. No solution was offered. No offer for compensation, nothing. I asked for laundry to be done in the morning, the receptionist told me to leave it on the floor behind the reception desk. Upon my return in the evening, the bag was still there on the floor and obviously the laundry was not done. Again, no offer to remedy the situation, nothing. The rooms are old and smell of mould. Ridiculously bad experience."
"Stayed here a few times for business trip but this review is based off my most recent stay. Pros: Great Location. Unlimited hot water. Staff friendly. Great WiFi. Warm Cookies. Large room (had the suite). Cons: Heater! First room heater wasn’t working and would only get to 58°F inside the room. They moved me to another room where heater worked but went out in the middle of the night and won’t heat past 66°F. I would have liked at least 71°F. I had to turn on the water in the shower to get heat which while did heat up the room added a lot of humidity also probably huge waste of water. I over heard the front desk staff telling guest they had no space heaters so other guests were having the issues. The week I stayed at the hotel was the first week of winter weather. The second room the moved me to the landline didn’t work so had to call front desk from my cell phone."
