"For many years, we have been going out of Williams landing. The dock is good for all boats. However, I am really disappointed in the new dock that replaced the other. Someone needs to change the rope tie downs. They are cheap LITTLE wood hand-made squares. Hard to keep a boat tied to it. The older dock on the other side is now better than the new one. Otherwise, it's a nice picnic area with BBQ. Fish cleaning station and several docks to fish from. Camp ground care takers are really nice."
"We stayed here for a week. The week included Memorial Day weekend. Surprisingly, even though the weather was gorgeous, the campground remained almost completely empty. The campground is nice, although some of the campsites may be a challenger for larger rigs. There are wooden fences between each campsite and around the campground that make getting in and out quite difficult. Each campsite comes with water, a picnic table, a campfire ring and a barbecue grill. There's no electricity provided. There's a boat ramp on site that stays pretty busy during the day. There's also a restroom, 4 fishing piers and a fish-cleaning station."
"Very clean, great camp host and sooo quiet. Pull thrus right next to a beautiful lake. Water only! Clean showers. (Old) We were worried because we have a 30ft airstream but it was fine. Would not recommend classA. Too tight of spaces. Also spots 5-8 are the flattest. Do not pick 4! Slope is horrible. Lots of flies - didn't really bother us but they loved the warm truck!"
"We had a blast here; what a hidden gem. $10/night on gorgeous man made Lake Talquin. The campground has 10 pull-through spots for tents or RVs. Water spigots, no electric or hookups. Charles is a great host. He runs a tight ship without being overbearing, a skill not every campground host has. Bathrooms were clean with plenty of hot water. Very handicap accessible for friends with mobility issues. We stayed in site 10 for privacy, but you may want to shoot for the middle if you have solar panels. They didn't really get a charge in site 10, but we didn't mind. Would definitely stay in a county campground again the next time we're in Leon!"
"Very peaceful location. Plenty of parking and a few places to fish from. And a a boat launch"
