About Us

AJ Henry Park is a 72-acre park located in Tallahassee, Florida. It is a popular tourist attraction in the area, offering a mix of active and passive recreational opportunities. The park is surrounded by seven neighborhoods in the Killearn area, making it a central hub for outdoor activities.

"Hidden gem in Tallahassee with playgrounds, picnic and barbecue areas, and a fun little trail system that crosses over a creek. Great for walking dog."

"The kids love the playground and the docks over the lake. Parents are happy there are bathrooms. The temperature is always cooler than everywhere else due to the heavy shade from trees. Perfect in warmer weather. Bring lettuce to feed the turtles in the water."

"My go to neighborhood park for my morning walks. Anytime I have seen an issue, trees down on trail, graffiti etc emailing the park gets quick responses. Just wish the water was higher and less heavy shoreline vegetation."
