"If I could give this salon a zero star, I would. I had the worst hair cut of my life here. The lady cut way to much off, the back was uneven, and the layers in my hair was all over the place and not blended at all. I didn't bother going back to get it fixed because I wasn't going to let them touch it again. I had to go spend even more money elsewhere to get it fixed. More hair had to be cut off to fix it, so between the awful cut and then to fix it, half of my long hair was gone. DO NOT GO HERE, THEY WILL RUIN YOUR HAIR."

"I had to share my experience at Smart Style with Sonja and Katelyn. I was in a bind after going swimming Saturday and taking down my braids. Most salons were closed Sunday, so I took a chance and tried the Smart Style near me (I used to go to the Smart Style in college occasionally when I was in college.) I called to ask pricing questions over the phone, and Katelyn answered my questions with a positive attitude, and suggested that I come in for a free consultation. I have not had a relaxer since Sept 2019. My natural pattern hair type is 4A (I think). I decided to come in because the location was not too far away. Sonja the manager, did a hair consultation with me and helped me understand that it would be best to wait for the chemicals, because of the tension of the braids, and my itchy scalp. Sonja suggested a protein treatment and a deep condition. Katelyn shampooed and detangled my transitioning hair so gently. She had the proper tools! Sonja trimmed my hair, per my request and Katelyn styled my hair and laid my edges. These ladies had me feeling fabulous when I left :) Not only did we do what was good for my hair, but we also did some goal talking, which I love :) I will be back! Thank you!"
