"Lisa was an incredible host! Beautiful old home with a comfortable cozy atmosphere. Our room was very clean. And our bed was very comfortable with soft sheets. The food that Lisa lovingly made us was excellent and delicious. Loved sitting in the front porch drinking my coffee each morning and admiring her beautiful hydrangeas. My boyfriend and I highly recommend!!"
"I loved every moment of my stay with Lisa and Greg, from my first steps into restored wood in the entrance vestibule to saying goodbye, as Lisa filled my driving coffee flask from the percolator. My room was so beautiful and comfortable, very cool on a hot day even though it was on the 2nd floor of an old house. The inn feels like home. Lisa served a delicious dinner and breakfast, organic ingredients, some from her garden. The wine, several choices, was excellent. The inn and inn keepers offer comfort, history, hospitality, genuine kindness, delicious food, and great stories. I will be back whenever traveling that way again."
"My wife and I would stay here any day. We were on our honeymoon and stayed here two night. So much better than a hotel. Youll never get this amazing and personal experience from a hotel. The owner was super friendly and kind. The house is so beautiful. It has it old quarks but thats the fun of it. It has a victorian charm and atmosphere. The in is located minutes away walk or drive from a lot in charleston. The owner knew so much history about the house and the town. We sat and talked with her while having morning coffee. Any questions of where to eat or any activities to do she would tell you and the suggestions did not disappoint. And the pancakes were the best pancakes I've ever had."
"This place is amazing. Truly wonderful. Lisa is the best hostess that I've ever had in my life. Period. The breakfast was 5 star. Her courtesy was 5 star. This place combined the charm of an old mansion with the convenience of being near everything awesome in Charleston. It's about a block away from the state Capital and so many great restaurants and shopping. Plus, it's right by the river. It's so good, pure joy! If we ever find ourselves in Charleston, we're staying here again!"
"Lisa was a most gracious host. The English Gentleman's guest room was more then we expected and truly a pleasure to stay in. We felt welcomed in by Lisa from the start with the ambiance of the Brass Pineapple Inn. From the first phone call to make reservations until we left, we felt appreciated by Lisa as she handled all of our needs. The wine and chocolate dipped strawberries we requested in the room was very nice and the history of the house conversation with Lisa was enlightening. She made us both a great breakfast of organic foods and the hot tea served in an antique tea cup was a pleasure. While visiting Charleston, the Brass Pineapple Inn will be our home away from home. Thank you Lisa for making both Keri and I feel like family in your beautiful Inn."
