"This hotel was very clean, nicely decorated and had plenty of amenities (bar, coffee, snack bar). But what really made my experience spectacular was the amazing staff! The GM who greeted us upon check-in (I can't recall her name!) was so welcoming and friendly. And then I left my purse in the lobby (something my husband would do, not me lol!). Staff member Gary found it, turned it in, and then Lee called my room to inform me that they had found it and had it for me at the front desk. That is awesome. I would definitely stay here again."
"Bobby is amazing! I called about getting a room as I traveled through Charleston for business. But I needed something early in the morning until mid afternoon for business calls and a quick nap before getting back on the road. She got me in, made me feel welcome and I will use this hotel for every future layovers!!!"
"I intentionally chose a hotel that had a shuttle to and from the airport. With no advance notice and no offer to do anything alternative, this hotel let me know the morning I needed a shuttle to the airport that it wasn't running that day. My room also had hairs all over it, mold in the shower caulking, and I got room service 1 of the 3 days I was there despite manually opting in to receive it. THEN, when I did their survey about all this, the hotel 'added points to my bonvoy account' and called me to discuss how they could make it right, but it wasn't a good time to talk on the phone for me when they called. They said they had to close out my 'case' right then or else they'd be in trouble, but that they'd reach back out at a better time, then I never heard from them again. I won't be staying here ever again."
"Rooms were very clean. Low water pressure, poor shower heads. No coffee cups. Was told to walk down to the desk to get them. Good hotel for a cheaper rate. For the rate charged there are better in town."
"Decent Courtyard, not great but okay. Pool but no hot tub, fitness center with satisfactory equipment but nothing super. We stayed 3 nights, and every day when we returned in the afternoon our keys didn't work so we had to go back down to get them fixed. Front desk acted like that was just part of the process, like we should expect to make 2 trips to our room every time. I don't remember getting an apology for the trouble in any of these trips, just "I need to see your ID." Hotel shares a parking lot with a Shoneys, and the neighborhood is not the greatest. I've stayed over 60 nights at Marriott properties so far this year, and this was among the more underwhelming. I'll find a different place to stay next time."
