Walked up to the reception window to check him in, and she couldn’t bother to acknowledge my presence. When my dad came she told him to have a seat. No hello, nothing. No sooner had he got across the room and sat down she immediately called him back. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but MSV could really benefit from having someone with better social skills at the public facing end of the business."

"I had two recommendations, for my mother to see someone either in Charleston or in Beckley WVa. For a serious issue that was affecting her health rapidly. I chose Beckley because, it was easier for us to cross the mountain behind her house and head across Bolt Mountain to Beckley. Dr. Whyte was the BEST choice I have ever made for my mother’s health. Dr. Whyte also has his own in-house x-ray across the street from his business, which makes it easier for the older people who like to get things done all in one day. His staff ( I think her name was Lindsey I’m not for sure I could be wrong) and others goes above and beyond to help you with whatever need you may be having. They helped me so much with my mother. Let me just say this, diabetes is no joke. It all started for my mother with a splinter on the side of her pinky toe. Being a diabetic any small cut, scrape, or even a tare of the skin can be seriously deadly to a diabetic, if not taken care of properly. Well, the last doctor didn’t really know what he was doing which was Dr. Paul at Logan regional Medical Center in Logan West Virginia Dr. Paul kept cutting digging and saying he was cleaning it, but I found out he made it worse and made it infected which it affected her health fast and with her memory. If it wasn’t for Dr. Whyte and staff, I think my mother would’ve lost her foot. He takes his patients very seriously. And that’s what I loved about him most. He will keep explaining something until you understand it. And answer every question you have. He also, let me go back with her when Covid wouldn’t allow it due to she didn’t know why she was there or what happened or anything about her health. So, I had to be her voice. I highly recommend Dr. Whyte. Little story for Y’all about Dr. Whyte…..The funniest thing about him was, he never called me by my name. He always called me Texas. Because, I reside in Texas. I have been home (In WVa) 5 months taking care of my mother. So, Dr. Whyte schedule her for surgery. I would ask him. Do you think she will be better by the time I leave back to Texas? He said, ”I can’t tell you that right now.” Super honest Dr. by the way. Every time I would make a flight back to Texas, my mother needed another surgery and I’d have to cancel my flight because, I didn’t wanna go home knowing my mother had to have a serious surgery. I ended up canceling five flights and he would say so sorry but, she needs surgery and will need you. So, when I would call his office for my mother or appointments, I would say this is Peggy’s daughter Crystal from Texas and they would know exactly who I was. After I finally had a good feeling about my mothers health being better then it was before I took her to see Dr. Whyte, I decided to head back to Texas. When my mother would go see Dr. Whyte for her appointments and I wasn’t there, he would always ask her every Dr. visit……Where is that Texan daughter of yours? When is she headed back? So, I guess that nickname has stuck with him for me lol ☺️ Dr. Whyte, Thank you so much for taking good care of my mother and saving my mothers foot. To the staff, I want to thank Y’all too for putting up with me and letting me go back to every appointment with my mother. She really needed me!!"
