"Visited a family friend in behavioral health unit on 12/30/2023. Visitation for patients on this unit are limited to one hour on Saturday and one hour on Sunday. Upon arrival, check-in is required at a desk in the hallway. The attendant this day was loud and rude to visitors. He complained about how many visitors were there, and he repeatedly ask who each person was there to visit. He repeated the names of the patient out loud, and called each unit in front of all visitors to tell the units which patients had visitors. There was absolutely no regard for HIPAA requirements, and confidentiality was violated numerous times. Furthermore, his tone was gruff and he acted as if the visitors were an inconvenience to him."
"Sat in an empty ER waiting room for hours and wasn't seen after having been sent direct by urgent care. When I was finally seen, they said I needed several scans or tests.. but then they said we have no radiologist, so just cancel everything. The same person kept asking me the same questions. They also didn't even try to figure out what the issue was. Mostly, they just didn't have any compassion or care. They started an IV for contrast dye , had a student do it without asking me if it was ok. Then didn’t watch him. It hurt a lot more than it should have and kept hurting while it was in. I'm an easy stick, too. I ended up developing secondary effects that could have caused an infection. It was a good thing I advocated for myself and got an antibiotic."
"I came to visit one of my friends here at the hospital and I was treated like I was retarded. When I request to understand what was taking so long in the procedure . I felt intimidated because there was three workers in the room waiting room with arms crossed and asking me who . I will never come back to this hospital for visitation theyanything because they treated me like a criminal like I was going to take my friend and throw across my shoulders and head for the door they like a lot of drama"
"ER visit and subsequent, Outpatient MRI Everyone was so kind and helpful. The ER was packed. Which is out of their control, but they kept me posted and took care of me… The staff, from admissions to completion of the MRI literally walked me to where I needed to be and could not have been nicer."
"Brought a friend to the ER for stitches. The PA that did the sutures did not put on sterile gloves. A nurse came in the room and ate her dinner with us in the room. We waited over an hour after the stitches were done for a tetanus shot and a dressing. Not impressed with the professionalism."
