MOD Pizza

"Very good pizza especially for the price. The young man who checked me out seemed passionate and was very helpful. Will definitely be returning on a day when I can actually dine in because the art style of the restaurant was really cool as well."

"Came here for dinner order two pizza waited 40 minute. To get one pizza and they gave away the other pizza. I could I get refunded or get a complimentary pizza they stated no so got a partial meal 45 minutes apart from each. The place was not busy at all to be waiting 1 hour 30 minutes. We should of got a complimentary pizza since the gave out pizza to someone who didn’t pay for it"

"HORRENDOUS location. Ordered my food ahead of time on the app and the promise time was 6:37, I understand that it won’t be ready at that exact time but I ended up receiving my order 1 HOUR LATER. On-top of that, the tables were NASTY, they made the food incorrectly, burnt my crust, didn’t include the finishing sauces, and the sanitation is DISGUSTING! Mix that with poor management and the nonexistent customer service? I would recommend you take the extra drive to the sandy springs location since it seems that they’re the only ones who know how to serve customers. Won’t be returning even if it’s the last place to eat on earth. DO. NOT. RECOMMEND."

"This is a tough one because I like the food, but it is so inconsistent. When MOD first opened, it was very good, but it has gone downhill since then. I have only eaten inside of MOD twice, and that was when it was newer. Then, the place was clean, busy, and staff was friendly. However, they have ALWAYS been inconsistent. I have placed so many takeout orders that ended up missing a requested topping. Having said that, the food was still good. You can get all of the toppings you want, and the price is the same. Also, the crust is good. Whatever their receipe is, which I am guessing is not something made fresh by the staff daily (judging based on the staff). Unless they burn it, or put something you can't stand on it, the dough will be good. Now, as I said, the place has gone downhill. I don't know who the owner is, or if there is ever a manager there. It is like it is being run by teenagers/very young adults. They are always running behind. I ordered two pizzas and a salad that were supposed to be ready to pick up in 20 minutes. We gave them 30, and still waited. There were things missing. The garlic my husband ordered was not on his pizza, but we did not regret that. They did put it on mine, but it was not spread out. It was just like chunks of garlic around the crust only. Since the option was included in the sauce selection, we expected it to be spread around with the sauce. They were also out of the pesto drizzle, but actually wrote a note saying that. This was a first. I have not received a topping, especially that drizzle selection, about 50% of the times I have orderd from here. So, that was kind of nice. The reason I am giving them a 3 is because the food is actually decent, and the price is right. I can get two of the medium sized pizzas and a salad for $30. This would be just as much, with an upcharge for every topping option at any fast food pizza chain. And yes, I DO consider this fast food pizza. This is a chain, and it is not upscale. It is not cool, trendy, hipster, fresher, higher quality, or modern. It is simply a different style and newer version of fast food pizza. The sad part is that because this is like a fast food pizza chain, I expect it to be lower quality. I expect bad customer service, lazy (and probably younger) workers, longer wait times, and missing toppings. I do not think that it is okay that I expect that, but it is the truth. I would still rather have the pizza from MOD versus another chain because I am not paying an arm and a leg for it."

"This picture should provide you with an overall understanding of sanitation at this location. Sad actually, because the pizza is quite tasty. Management needs to have more oversight of the store as it appears the young workers are managing themselves. This looks like a bathroom behind a rundown gas station off a rarely used highway, and not a trendy pizza spot in Decatur. Do better."
