"Take out dinner for 2 We could smell the barbecue as soon as we walked in the restaurant. As we approached the front counter, we were greeted warmly. In fact, all the staff we came in contact with were very friendly. We reviewed  the menu, which offered a wide selection, including various sides. While the prices appeared somewhat on the expensive side, we hoped the taste would justify the cost. Wifey ordered the Pulled Chicken Sandwich with a side of coleslaw, and I opted for the Half Rack of Baby Back Ribs with coleslaw. The lady who took our order advised us to arrive early for dessert as they tend to sell out by 5 PM. While waiting for our food, I couldn't help but notice the spacious indoor dining room, which was relatively empty, with only a few tables occupied by patrons.  The whole restaurant itself was very clean, including the restroom.  I don’t remember it taking very long before we were told that our food was ready.  We packed everything up and headed home, and by the time we arrived, our meals were still warm. Wifey thoroughly enjoyed her sandwich, and I loved my ribs, which were tender and practically falling off the bone with excellent flavor. We are definitely planning to return in the future. 4.5 rating"

"No frills FANTASTIC BBQ My kids introduced me to Community Q while attending Emory. First time back in since COVID and I have to say, even better than I remembered. Just got the ribs and I have to say better or as good as I have ever had. Cooked with a sweet rub and vey lightly sauced. No need to add anything. Just eat as they come. As the saying goes, “Try it, you’ll LIKE it”. More like LOVE it!"

"There is a reason Community is considered one of the best barbecue in Atlanta. This restaurant is a local favorite with great tasting barbecue, sides and deserts. Staff is friendly and efficient. We liked the use of metal trays instead of foam or cardboard. We had quite a variety of food including; a half slab ( a little on the small side), collards, chicken sandwich, Brunswick stew, brisket, Mac and cheese. pulled pork sandwich and coleslaw. We shared and appreciated all the dishes….only regret is we were too full for dessert. Parking could be a challenge. The policy of not taking seats until you order, keeps the tables turning over well."

"It was very good smoked BBQ. We had ribs w/fries, the pulled chicken w/pulled pork sandwich and the pulled chicken w/ brisket sandwich. Our sides were potato salad, collard greens, Brunswick Stew, and mac/cheese. The fries have a sweet taste that we didn't care for. The greens were good but had too much vinegar on them and the mac and cheese was good."

"Had lunch with the family at Community BBQ. Restaurant definitely has BBQ vibes. Service was friendly and food came out quickly. Food was on the higher end as far as BBQ goes. They only have 2 sauces - a sweet traditional sauce and vinegar based. This is a preference but the BBQ was to sweet for me. The Mac and cheese is some of the best I’ve had in a very long time."
