"I travel a lot and I use VA medical centers and clinics all over the country. The staff at the Beckley VA Medical Center has done a stellar job of taking care of my needs. All of them. The Gold Clinic. The Podiatry Dept. The Opthalmology Dept. The Hearing Clinic. The CPAP clinic. The Pharmacy. Medical Imaging. And all the others I have seen over the years. What a great group of competent, knowledgeable, friendly people."

"I am giving the VA Hospital an star review. The doctors, and nurses are wonderfull. They treat you so good. I feel like a member of the family when I am treated by them. However I have a few issues that I have to give alow rating on. DENTAL CARE FOR VETRRANS; Unless you 100%, or totally disabled you can not get dental care at a VA Hospital. I can get a MRI, or a surgery that may cost $5,000 but yet I can't get preventative dental care. We need across the board dental care for our veterans, no matter you disability rating. CAFETERIA FOOD; It seems the food that once was great, and affordable is now a thing of the past. The portions are now small, and the cost is much higher. I was charged $7.25 for a meal that had very little. Something needs to be done to fix this for the Veteran's!"

"Relatively quick service and doctors are thorough and proactive. I have experienced seamless service between my provider and all of the specialty clinics I've been referred to. The staff is friendly and compassionate. I'm always treated well and thoroughly enjoy talking to them."

"Was admitted for a 4 day hospital stay after a motor vehicle accident. ER services were great. Dr and nurses very attentive. My stay was great, food was pretty good, nurses checked on me often and the times I had to hit the call button they came pretty quick."
