"My wife, two friends, and I decided to grab a quick desert tonight at Freddy’s, expecting the usual prompt and friendly service. However, our experience didn’t start as planned. We found ourselves waiting at the counter for more than five minutes, despite being within clear view of the staff working the counter and window. The lack of attention was surprising, particularly since the drive-thru wasn’t busy. When we were acknowledged, the greeting was curt and lacked any apology for the wait, making it feel like our presence was more of an inconvenience than an opportunity for service. We ordered our desserts anyways and settled down, only to be informed later by the window employee that there would be a further 10 minute delay. Enter Lauren - She approached us to apologize for the wait, her sincerity and professionalism shining through. Lauren’s actions were in sharp contrast to the counter employee’s disrespectful gesture (aka flipping the bird when they asked for help with the deserts) towards their coworkers, an incident that didn’t go unnoticed by us or the other customers. Lauren not only expedited our dessert orders but also provided us with free dessert coupons as an apology for the delay and the initial oversight. This gesture was a classic example of understanding and addressing customer dissatisfaction proactively. As a hospitality manager myself, I truly appreciate when an employee takes responsibility and goes the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. Lauren’s approach to service recovery was commendable and exactly the type of behavior that deserves recognition. Despite the rocky start, Lauren’s efforts significantly improved our overall experience, reminding us of the impact that one individual’s actions can have on the perception of an entire business."
"Great food! The super thin fries are great. Ask for the fry sauce. It's kin to thousand Island I think and goes great with the fantastic shoestring fries. The veggie burger tastes great, but is not something to eat on the road. It crumbles easily (but again, tastes excellent). The burgers are great as well, with or without cheese. My daughters also enjoy the Patty Melts. The indoors has a retro vibe I like it visually. It can get a bit loud on a busy day."
"I don't know if I came at a bad time but, worst experience. I ordered on the app. I go in and they haven't even seen my order yet. They gave me my cups to which there were not lids for nor did they have any. They were supposed to be checking for lids for a lady that was there a bit before me. Finally she asked for cups that do have lids. I had to go ask for the same. The employees were arguing and the one was told to walk away and stop talking by another employee. One of the workers was carrying around a child's sippy cup behind the counter. Everyone seemed pissed off or wandering around. It wasn't busy at all while I was there. The drink machine was gross. I waited to get my food, got to my car and drove home. My burger was ok but the cheese curds were so bad that I vomited after eating a few. The reason is in the photo. They tasted like they were cooked yesterday and they clearly haven't cleaned their fryers in a very long time. I dumped most of them in the trash just to get the pic of the bottom of the container for you. The last ones at the bottom were coated underneath with a thick greasy old sludge and there was sludge not only in this container but also all in the bag with the other food. I still feel sick over an hour later. There were at least 4 people working and only two customers. One of the employees was just chilling at a table 30 mins after they opened. I will never step foot back in this Freddy's and I used to love them. It's gone down hill."
"Always especially happy when "Q" is there to take care of us. This is a hamburger joint with a good selection of tasty burgers. The french fries are thin, crispy and delicious. Better than the fries at In 'n Out Burger! And don't forget the frozen custard!!!"
