"My insurance company has paid my claim, and I have paid the portion of the bill that I owe, (per my insurance company). I previously mailed Pathology Associates the amount I owe, along with a copy of my insurance company Explanation of Benefits, thinking this would clarify the large amount they were claiming I owed to them (over $700). I was just sent a collections notice for the full amount charged-again over $700. My insurance company and myself have already paid!"

"Same as everybody else! I had a VA approved community service appointment for an EDG in February 22 and received a collection agency letter, demanding money for a pathology sample taken during my EDG. This is the first and only letter or statement concerning this bill. I received it too late to call them today so I’m calling them first thing in the morning."

"same as so many- I was in network and recieved surprise billing- from this provided that was out of network. sorry could not approve this while under anesthesian..... never got a bill until a recieved a collections notice. Check with insurance who had notified them that it was now illeagal. When I spoke to someone at their billing service she was able to pull up what I should owe which was less than half of what they turned me into collections for. Fairly large disconnect and process issues that need to be fixed"

"They got paid from my provider, and then billed me threatening collections. After fighting with them, I finally said "screw it" just paid the $76 bill. They THEN charged my credit card TWICE, and then denied it when I called them. So, essentially, they've been paid THREE times for the same service. I'm now having to dispute it with my credit card company. Don't do business with these crooks."

"Same as the rest. If any hospital, clinic, or patient is considering using their services, I'd advise against if you care about your patients or needs. Never knew we had a bill pending with this company from a surgery at a hospital that they apparently contract through. Saw a collection agency hit my credit for a $91 bill with this company's name. Called to resolve the issue and it's because they had my physical address wrong (to an address that is non-existent). They admitted they had returned mail from it (obviously) and so they submitted to collections. Terrible business practice to affect people's credit before figuring out where they actually reside."
