"I can’t believe I haven’t written a review sooner. I have been loving this soap for many years before Robert opened his beautiful shop. The oatmeal soap is marvelous, magical, and medicinal. Every scent is delightful, and never overpowering. If we are friends or family, I have probably given you this soap as a gift. If you haven’t tried Robert’s soaps yet, don’t wait any longer. They make every bath or shower into a spa day."

"We were visiting Tryon and could not pass by the wonderful smells coming from the Mountain Trail Soap Company. Upon entering the store we found amazing handmade soaps made by the owner and operator and in very small batches. Our family group of twelve all had to purchase some. My wife and I fell in love with the scents of the Pinecone and Lime vegan bar which is as heavenly as the Bamboo Cypress vegan bar. We were not disappointed after using them in the shower. They were sudsy, smooth and relaxing as well as nice and cleaning. We all highly recommend the soap and the owner operator of this establishment. "My sister and I wandered into Mountain Trail Soap Company while we were home. I absolutely love everything that he sales. The oatmeal soup makes my skin feel so soft, I love it. They smell so good! I tried the body butter the last time I visited and fell in love! I need to buy more as I am out. I have told so many people about his soaps and they love them too!"
