Cambridge at Southern- The Pines 122 Lanier Drive, Statesboro, GA 30458

"This apartment at Pines @ Cambridge was disgusting. Nothing like in the photos! My daughter booked it without seeing it in person. There was a dead roach in her teeny room, dirty carpets coming up from their tack strip, bathroom hadn't been cleaned and looked gross, leak stains on ceiling, but the worst thing was the how extremely hot the apartment was. This was in August and it had to be 90 in there. She said she couldn't sleep even with the fan on. They save allot of money not using the AC in these but saying they do. She shared it with 3 girls, 2 that smoked weed and never cleaned their dishes/ or opots and they ate her food. They broke her keurig coffee maker she brought. She said signing the lease was her biggest regret."

"I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I am an international student and I received my master's degree at Georgia Southern during Fall 2021- Spring 2023. I lived there for 2 years, as it was what I could afford at the time. Despite the cheap price and average facilities, the place itself is dangerous. In fact, someone was murdered in broad daylight next to my apartment. If you doubt it, look for local news! It happened in April 2023. Gunshots could be heard constantly. The place is not equipped with cameras and security. Other than that, they made me pay for damage I didn't do to my room. I completed the Apartment Inspection with photos of the dirty and damaged carpet as soon as I moved in. At the end of my contract, they charged me 300 dollars (and my securit deposit of $500), claiming that I had damaged it. I sent many emails and called days in a row asking to speak to the manager. I was completely ignored! To top it off, the place is very noisy. My neighbors were unbearable. The location next to a nightclub also turns weekends into a constant (and annoying) place to sleep and rest. Now, I speak here mainly to international students like me. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE LOW PRICE! It's not worth sacrificing your mental health and well-being for money. I deeply regretted it! I guarantee that you can find a more pleasant place to live with a favorable cost-benefit ratio."

"Move in day was a little hectic, my old apt was not in the best shape at all. I am also allergic to dogs and the property manager, sat with me for 2 hours trying to find me a better placement. It ended up all working out thanks to Kristen and she still checks on me and how I am doing with my roommates. She is a great addition to palms."

"I must say that when we arrived we had to enter in service requests, but to my surprise the maintenance team came out the next morning to repair the issues. Not only did they repair the issues they came back when they said they would with the parts and gave great professional customer service. TH the maintenance person is great and professional. I am one happy mom."

"Horrible... Where do I begin... The appliances are garbage. The dishwasher and garbage disposal never worked properly. The dryer took 2 hours to dry items and would often shrink clothing. The tub leaks and mold grew in the closet. Bugs...always coming in through the front door. If you can afford to stay away, I would not recommend this apartment."
