"Truly cannot emphasize enough what a terrible experience it was to live at Main and Stone. My husband and I lived here for over 2 years and were so disappointed - this complex had potential with its great location and being walkable to downtown but in the quiet North Main area. Unfortunately, Main and Stone has terrible tenants and an apathetic leasing staff. Over the course of our two years here, the complex has become increasingly disgusting and has almost unlivable conditions. Some issues we experienced: -downstairs neighbors who would throw parties every weekend so loud it would shake our apartment -a neighbor who continually let their dog pee in the hallway and stairwell so we had to step around or in it to get out of our apartment - dog blood dripping down the stairwell that was never cleaned after 2 years -human blood in the gym that was not cleaned up All of these issues were brought up to the leasing office multiple times and nothing would be done until we would threaten to cancel our lease due to their negligence. Do yourself a huge favor and do not live here. Attached are some lovely photos of the various bodily fluids we encountered during our time here!"
"Started off great when my wife and I moved in close to 2 years ago but has gone down hill as the staff has turned over multiple times. The maintenance team is the only positive part of the staff but they have been cut down to 2-3 guys. The issue is with the management and the leasing office. Do not move here, The rent is only going up and it is not even close to the best apartment complex in the city. This started as a budget option for us but our rent has increased to being more expensive than any of the other places downtown."
"Main & Stone has been a wonderful place for me to reside while in transition. It's in a great location, a beautiful place and has very nice amenities. It's convenient to so many things. Like living in any apartment building, I had a few issues with recurring noisy neighbors, but they were very promptly addressed (to my satisfaction and beyond) by Jessica Stone. She is a great asset to this community. I will miss Main & Stone but am excited about my new home. Highly recommend Main & Stone and appreciate the professionalism of staff, especially Jessica. Thank you!"
"I have lived here for almost 4 years. The first 2 years were AWESOME. Incredible front office staff, a full maintenance crew that were extremely kind and caring of the little community here. Unfortunately things have gone downhill, fast. The leasing office is the epitome of the property. The staff are anything but helpful, and they personally really could care less for the community, and they definitely let it show. They will request forms like updated renters insurance or contact forms, ect. Of course, no problem I send them in immediately as they request! Then a week later I’ll get a warning slip on my door saying I’m going to be fined for not providing said forms/information. Then I have to email again and go through the whole process now I already sent it and how I really don’t need a fine, ect. This happens everytime they require updates on info. The maintenance crew has dwindled to 1 or sometimes 2 guys. They are the only positive here. They are still very kind and helpful. Collin in the leasing office was nothing more than awful to me last time I called in. No body has been less helpful and more rude than him. I work hand and hand with property management companies and apartment communities, it’s my job. It really blows my mind and disappoints me how poor the complex has gotten. Hopefully the right eyes read this and make the correct adjustments."
"The walls are paper thin. You can hear your neighbors phone calls, and hear very personal info abt them. Hopefully you get an understanding neighbor that understands the walls are thin. My old neighbor would harass me and the other neighbor on the other side of her all the time. I was understanding to all her noise but she didn’t understand that unfortunately the walls were thin for EVERYONE. Location is good though."
