"These apartments are HORRIBLE! 0 out of 10 would not recommend. They have roaches… spoke with so many people in the complex and we’ve all complained about the lack of maintenance that is done on the apartment, the roaches, the peeling tubs, the water leaking from a pipe coming out of the ceiling the lights barely working mold in window, roaches, the lack of air circulation in the master bed rooms, management barely being in office, SNAKES, did I mention roaches, water pocket in the bathroom wall, ceiling leaving in master bathroom from upstairs when they take showers. It says online they have a park LIES, the said they have a pool… first yers it’s been open in 3 years, said they have a gym… LIES… all lies. Police stay out here…. We’ve been through 4 different property managers and well as staff. When one leave so does all the complaints and files except the lease. Nobody that come is has any knowledge of anything from before them. Basically we have to start all over complaining. They are jacking the rent up for nothing. This is just not the place to be."

"WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! There is a roach infestation that they are not doing anything about. The rent is sky high but all they have to offer is a dirty pool. It seems as though everything is broken or not working in the apartment. We went two weeks with our refrigerator broken and not working after they said they would fix it. We had to throw out all of our groceries. Terrible place"

"Honestly I don’t what they got going on! Same owners but be managers who I never seen but only spoke via email! And maintenance only part time who lies about coming to fix stuff! But I tell you what if I fix anything best believe they will receive a receipt instead of rent payment"

"We lived at Poplar Place for 9 yrs. It was amazing when we moved in, beautiful landscaping, strict policy for approving new residents and daily maintenance and front office staff readily available. Over the yrs it has changed owners numerous times. Residents were never told and always encountered problems when rent was due because it was a totally different company unbeknownst to us. Each sale came with new office staff which was non existant by the time we left a few months ago. Our records were lost with every sale, everything was unorganized and no one seemed to care. We even had one office manager who was caught embezzling the rent money while trying to issue evictions when they've already paid. The trash piles up and the kids run around unsupervised. The day we moved, several cars had broke into the night before. Numerous ppl were murdered while we were there. It became a place for anyone with the money could be approved, no background checks anymore. Police stay out there. I watched swat break in 2 apartments at different times. Ppl hang in the parking lot drinking and playing loud music in the nights. Maintenance was fired just before we left because he was stealing from residents homes. No corporate number or help is given. All you have is the person in the office who is never in the office. The playground stays full of trash and only has 1 piece of equipment. The pool stays green and only open the first week because they won't keep it clean. They've taken away the exercise room totally so they don't have to update equipment. Nothing being advertised is real. This is a place you only want to consider if you have absolutely no other option. This place is dirty and unsafe, renter beware!"

"Living at Poplar place apartments has been interesting. I was considering moving from this place until the new manager Tamra got here and turned it around. She is always willing to help and she’s very understanding. This place is a better place because of her. The maintenance team is always there to correct the issue. Also this property use to be full of trash until this team got here and made it worth living here. We got a new sign and I feel safe because I always see her walking the property and the breezeways taking pictures and correcting issues. Thank you Tamra and staff for making it a better place."
