"Dr. O’Kelley spends time with my child, talks with her, and does a thorough job in checking into any issues. We’ve been going to her for several years and would never change doctors. She provides excellent medical care."
"Waited almost an hour and half to see Dr O’Kelly today for a two minute exam. I was on time for the appointment, but two others showed up early for their appointments, so they were given priority. Asked after an hour if I should reschedule, this was a physical, and I was told she was almost ready... then sat around and waited more. Didn’t have time to do lab work because I was now late for another appointment. No apology offered - just an explanation that others showed up early for their appointments? Like I should have expected to wait an hour and a half if I showed up on time?"
"We've been so fortunate to have Dr. O'Kelly as our primary physician for over five years. Dr. O'Kelly is very professional and very caring. You don't always find a doctor who has both of these traits. We've always felt that she asks the right questions and listens to us. Through the years she has accurately diagnosed our medical problems. If she is not able to solve the situation, she will refer us to a specialist. We never feel rushed or gnored. As senior citizens, we hope she'll be at Heritage Pediatrics and Internal Medicine for many years because we know we can count on her to give us the best care possible. Thank you, Dr. O'Kelly!"
"I hurt my shoulder, fell and possibly tore a muscle (according to the specialist). O'Kelly had the x-rays Thursday -Monday (5 days) and didn't know they were sent to her asap an hour after my visit because it was a such bad injury. (I called the lab on Monday asking them to please send them and they let me know it they sent it right after I left on Thursday). I saw the specialist yesterday, can't lift my arm, he couldn't even examine me because of how much pain I was in and gave me a shot just to help. O'Kelly gave me a note to return to school (preschool teacher) on Monday. Sigh. She said I should be ok to work, you know lift 15, 30 lb kids, change their diapers, dress them when they spill something on their clothes, reach across table and cut food...what, crying in pain the whole time plus not even able to do what I just listed? Yes, I did call and pleaded with her secretary, explained it's like sending a construction worker to lift and carry (his job) with an arm that hurts and won't lift up. She still said return to work, her medical opinion was my arm will be ok by then. If I go on Monday, can't work, and I need to come see her at the office for another visit she'll definitely see me. Really? So, just found another doctor. Learn from my experience..."
