"We got there they gave us the keys to a dirty room then they switched a room and said they were pretty sure it was clean but sprayed it a bunch, it smells weird, indoor pool broken which was a big reason we booked here and no one was all helpful. Front desk woman didn't even attempt to be polite."

"Really appreciated the modern decor, new facilities, and breakfast until 10. Gym was very small but well outfitted for trendy workouts, which was appreciated by this Millennial. I've never seen a "regular" hotel with a Barre bar and a soft plyo box. Pillows are way too soft and flattened immediately. Breakfast was the usual Hilton midscale stuff, not my favorite but can't complain about free. The coffee was really terrible, like hot water with a splash of old coffee flavor. Overall, it is really good value for a short overnight stay."

"We loved our experience with Tru! This was my nieces first overnight so I booked a place with an indoor pool as an added surprise. She was over the moon and is the only part of our trip she raced about (as 3 year olds do). Check in was easy, the rooms were clean, breakfast was adequate. The staff were all very polite and some even outgoing / friendly (shout out to Miss Theresa on floor 5). Will most likely seek out this hotel if we return to Greenville in the future."

"Convenient location, helpful staff. I have a serious mold allergy and have had terrible experiences at other hotels. The reviews of this Tru by Hilton seemed to indicate cleanliness, so I took the chance. I also requested that my room have the AC and bathroom cleaned with my allergy in mind. I don't know if it was specially cleaned or not, but I was so relieved that I wasn't having any mold reactions from the room. Overall, the room was great. No special frills, but clean and efficient. The only downsides I encountered were that the bed is on the firmer side (which just comes down to personal preference), and that we had a couple ants crawling on the bedspread when we came in. There was another at bedtime. I wasn't sure where they came from, since the room wasn't shabby or dirty. If ants aren't a serious allergy trigger or ick for you, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Overall, I definitely recommend this hotel."
