"I was not given what I called a complete exam. I ended up at Dr Care for a complete exam and the proper medication for an upper respiratory infection. All I was given at LMC - Urgent care was a test for COVID, RSV, & flu."
"I had an infection I attempted to treat myself but by Friday Dec 29, 2023 I knew I was in trouble. Neither my regular PA nor my Urologist could see me and both suggested Urgent Care. I arrived about 10:30 but was I was told up front my wait would be long but I felt I had no choice. After appx 5 hours I saw the NP, was diagnosed and a script written … they called me on Jan 2nd to let me know I needed an additional script. I’m thankful for the entire staff for their kindness. I’m 77 and patience is more difficult for me but they were obviously overwhelmed but doing all they could to help the many folks there. I made a point to thank each of them for their service!"
"On 12/27 I went to LMC Urgent Care -Irmo, after waiting in a room for 2 hours the doctor can in to say he thought that I had my CT Scan already. I then went on to explain that they had closed, he asked me to come back the next morning 12/28. He promised that he would be there to see me and make sure I got my CT Scan. Well, 12/28 at 8:00am the staff were confused to why he would say that he would see me because the doctors rotate out. I had to be charged again to be seen for a CT just be transferred to Lexington's ER."
"Went to urgent care about 1pm on Christmas Eve. Nurse met us at the door asking "what are you here for?" I told her COVID. Her response was "we're not testing. All you can do is treat the symptoms." It was clear she was more.worried about having to stay after hours than she was about providing care for my sick wife and she basically said as much. " we're full and already having to stay past closing with who we have waiting." So much for compassionate care."
"I took my 3mth old son in 12/1/23 and the lady who took his temp wasn’t no help in helping me get him undress because they don’t have a table. I don’t recall which one told me I should have taken him to the Children hospital. I said I live over here and came here. The ladies at the front desk was semi nice. The so call NP/DOC came in the room and never touched my son. I had to ask her are you going to check him. I don’t know if they were racist or just don’t know about babies. I won’t ever return there."
