"I had both hips replaced by Dr. Brayton Shirley. I had gone through years of pain and misdiagnosis by other supposed orthopedic specialists only to be sent away with no help. They all acted as though I was drug seeking. But Dr. Shirley actually took the time to listen to me as to how the injury occurred. He instructed his X-ray tech to shoot the area from a different angle rather than the regular standard angle and - Voila! There it was! My femur had a fracture across the head. It had been so long between the initial accident and the findings, that the other hip had sustained significant damage because of the way I had been walking. Dr. Shirley did the surgeries on both of my hips two years apart and I will be forever thankful to him for that."

"I left the ER Saturday night with a grade 5 separation in my shoulder. The referral to Steadman Hawkins clinic states I need to be seen by 7/6. I called multiple times on Monday, they were closed Tuesday because it was the 4th of July. When I did reach someone this morning however I was told that “the date from the ER was a suggestion” and that the doctors would be in touch in 72 hours. I wasn’t aware that receptionist could make those decisions and not the doctors who instructed them. Needless to say this clinic certainly has some fairly terrible reviews on response times."

"I am very frustrated. Dr Siffree stressed how urgent surgery is for my husband. I will be out of town for 2 weeks to take care of another urgent family matter and am trying to make these arrangements prior to leaving. We were told that Lisa, his surgery scheduler, would contact us soon with arrangements. That was 4 hours ago. I have called 3 times. She is not answering her phone and her voice mail message says she will not be returning calls today. I am very disappointed and frustrated with this poor level of service. I was told that she is the only one to whom I can speak - no one else can handle this. UPDATE: We never did hear back from Lisa despite several more calls and voicemail messages left. I guess the surgery isn’t as critical as Dr. Siffree implied."

"Saw Dr. Huntington about a week ago about what I thought was an orthopedic problem that is causing me to not be able to walk fully. He said he did not think it was an orthopedic problem, said would refer me to Podiatrist. Never called. He rushed my visit when I was seen. Said he was not trying to, had another issue with the same foot because I am forced to walk on the side of my foot. He was trying to rush out and barely listened to me about it. Did not feel he cared at all about my pain or problem. I should not have had to feel that way. Why did I get charged? Doctors today care so little about patients."

"If you need an emergency appointment (within 3 days) do not call. You can't be seen even though you are an established patient. And no other doctor with the practice can see you because your an established patient with one if their specific doctors. I just needed a quick shot to help me with pain and can't work that in. ****update....I made an appointment 1& 1/2 months out and the day of the office called to cancel. When I asked where I could go for emergency appointment they had no suggestions. I can see another doctor on their practice now I guess because they cancelled on me but that appointment is a week out. Not Great patient service to me when it takes 2 months to get an appointment for something that's not routine."
