"My husband and I just tried to call the salon to set up an appointment for a surprise haircut that he had set up for me. When Marie answered the phone, she would not let us speak, to tell us that there was no availability and that she was not going to look at her books to schedule an appointment for us. She said she was the only one working who had the avaliable time to check for an appointment. She said that she was going to call us back, but never took our phone number. The way she was talking over me has put a sour taste in our mouth and we will not be using our groupon with Christopher George. Her lack of charisma and willingness to sign on a new client was very disheartening."

"I've been searching for a new stylist ever since mine retired and I subsequently got butchered by a newly licensed girl (who, of course, didn't disclose just how green she was before starting) who quit to move back to her home state 2 days after butchering me. I was scarred for years and let my hair get into a terrible state because of my fear of trusting someone else with my hair again. I really like Marie!! She was very kind, but honest and straightforward. Her answers, technique and final product make it very clear that she is an expert. I admit I was almost scared away from trying her out based on a few bad reviews, but then I averaged out the great reviews against the negative ones and determined that she was definitely worth a shot! I'm glad I did too because I'm super happy with her work and actually enjoyed our conversation. I personally think some of the negative reviews are from the type of people who are just never satisfied or who misconstrued her honesty and bluntness. I will definitely be going back to her for future cuts and to have her fix my horrible decision to use box hair dye at home. Don't ask, but yes I knew better and did it anyway. Lookin forward to seeing Marie again! Don't accept any review as the final word.... Go see for yourself without any preconceived notions. You just might be surprised!"
