"Shameful to lose a buried body then try to gaslight the family into believing their loved one's remains "returned to the earth", as the explanation for why there's nothing in the plot; no casket, no screws, nails or metal, no clothes, no bones... This place shouldn't be in business."
"“Misplacing” a body is disgusting and your entire operation should be shut down but I’m sure that’s well on its way."
"The staff at Hillcrest Memorial Park performed admirably with the recent death of a loved one. Arrangements were made for a burial in very short time and the gravesite was prepped in an honorable way. The military honors crew were able to complete a truly amazing Military Honors Ceremony including a gun salute. Thank you for helping to make the funeral and burial an honorable experience. The gravestone was put in place within a few hours and we were able to see the final resting place for our Family Patriarch, next to our Matriarch."
"I gave this review one star because I can’t give it anything less. I am still dealing with issues and overcharges in the sum of $5000 plus as well as almost placing my mother in the wrong plot if my father had not gone to the site the day before. The sales team comprised of Brittany Fastje and William “Bill” Bourbeau, and then general manager Clifton Atwood will lie to you, tell you that they do not have the answers to any of your financial questions, or it’s above their pay grade and then when pressed for a contact number to obtain this information, they will ignore you or give you a fake number to the corporate office or say they do not have this information. If you plan to do business with Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery make sure you ask for anyone else than those names above. Make sure to ask for an itemized contract and have them go over each charge and do your due diligence and make sure what they are telling you is actually the correct information. When I asked about a charge, they lied about what it actually was and they tried to double charge our family on three different items on our contract. The lack of communication, professionalism and the blatant lies made me pursue their corporate office and get to the bottom of things. Thankfully, I was able to speak with someone in the corporate office who assured me that these issues will be corrected and the overcharges will be refunded. If I did not know what questions to ask or to continually contact executives at the corporate office to help handle this matter, I believe my grieving father and family would have been taken advantaged of financially and our mother would not have been buried in the correct place with her headstone marker as well as a prepaid lot and marker for my father, when he passes. I want to make sure that this does not happen to any other families while dealing with the grief of losing their loved one."
"Do not expect professionalism. Do not expect compassion. Do not expect "perpetual care." And most of all do not expect to be followed up with about ANYTHING. The only way you will get a response is by TEXT MESSAGE and even then no one will return your calls- you will have to call repeatedly and leave more unanswered messages. If you ask any questions you will be met with condescending remarks. They WILL talk down to you. Unfortunately once your loved one is in the ground and the money is paid you are on your own. If you have a choice steer VERY clear of this cemetery and if you're locked in on using them I suggest preparing yourself for disappointment. I understand to them this is just another work day and just another body in the ground but ultimately this is someones loved one and at the very least the family should be treated with respect."
