"This used to be a decent spot, I've stayed here for years when visiting Savannah GA! But now they have virtual check-in process where it's done remotely on a kiosk machine. Someone will video chat with you, make you scan your ID, make you sign on the screen, and print the card, which conveniently just falls to the floor. Not to mention they now have a sign at the check in desk which states the second floor and balcony should not be occupied due to safety conditions! I highly recommend finding another hotel, this was my last stay at this one."
"Just left this place this AM,I have never,ever been in such a disgusting motel,how does Econo Lodge allow them to use their name There must be families living in the back rooms,I went back there,wow !!. Having to go thru the camera/ lobby check in( I see why due to its location,) found my room #130,had to knock,as there was a old pair of work boots on th AC unit I had my own pillow in my car, I found the cleanest towels and laid fully clothed on them,I left in the middle of the night,Ishould have demanded a refund"
"I am absolutely appalled by this hotel it was booked in advance due to us coming from out of state . We checked in immediately had bugs everywhere all over the walls and floor , we had 2 nights booked only stayed one night . We had issues in our room no microwave plate , the ac was broken , our floors were filthy I had to get on my hands and knees and scrub the floor it was so black and disgusting I have babies , there was mold on the walls , in the shower on the roof of the shower , our sink handle was broken our beds were dirty , the sheets smelled sour we slept fully clothed with our belongings in our car . There were BEDBUGS CRAWLING ON THE PILLOWS THE BED & OUR HEADBOARD that is attatched to the wall . We took pictures & reported it to front desk there was a man there ,short with glasses & a ponytail we reported our issues to him he said he would let his manager know the next morning . The following morning we go to the office around 12 to speak with the manager due to our issues and wanting a refund for our second night . The very SAME light skin short man with the ponytail was sitting in the lobby feet up on a desk to the right of the doors as u walk in watching anime on the lobby tv DRINKING JACK DANIELS , The woman we spoke to us her daughter with her behind the desk screaming because the woman took the phone away to call her manager . She said the manager would be in contact , manager contacted us and stated it takes 7-10 days for a refund . we waited and got our refund , as of YESTERDAY 12/05/2023 I was charged $220 for A ROOM I DID NOT STAY IN an entire month later they charged my card , waiting on bank statements to see if I was charged anything else . I called and spoke with the manager who insisted there is no man whom works there fitting my description I announced she can review her lobby cameras & cameras all around the property he killed a spider infront of my door & helped another gentleman fix his tv this man was our first point of contact for this terrible situation. We have requested a refund and want an explanation as why we were charged after we reported it & DID NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL AGIN AFTER OUR FIRST NIGHT , the woman we spoke with said her manager was not there I explained my reason for the call & what do you know the manger got on the phone . As a former Hotel Manager I’m almost %100 certain a manager is supposed to stay on site . Then again I wouldn’t want to stay in a filthy bedbug hotel surrounded by abandoned buildings either ."
"The rooms were a mess. Not swept or cleaned properly. Dirt and bugs pieces on the floor, beds, linens, and sinks. Beds n pillows didn't have protectors on them. The bathrooms were disgusting too. Felt like bugs were crawling all over. We slept on top of the covers fully clothed. We had our suitcases up and our shoes so bugs didn't get in them. One mattress has blood on it. We were told by a local that there was a suicide at the hotel. Could have been our room due to the way the blood was on the mattress. Also the 2nd floor of the building had been condemned and it is be demolished. There was also a police officer stationed between our section of the rear of the hotel and the other side. Very very disappointing in the rooms. I should not have even paid for that. We will never stay here again."
"My room was clean and everything was in order. The freezer was iced over, but I didn't need it anyway. It's not a five-star hotel, but they are okay for the price. There is a need for parking lot pavement, and the pool wasn't available. They did have breakfast in the morning if you cared to go down and get some. I had no complaints about the people or the location. I will be staying there for my next stay because my children are not far away from the hotel. You can get everywhere you need to go within 15 minutes. The price is right since the last place overcharged me for my stay. I didn't have the problems others may have had. I only stayed a couple of days. I appreciated a good clear cignal on the television."
