"Maintenance request marked completed and never done. Compactor is disgusting and a safety and sanitary issue. Have sent numerous request for street light (out over a year) and entrance light (out over 6 months). Parking is horrible. A resident should have a designated parking spot in front of their section."

"My Mother and I toured Courtney Bend Apartment today. The Office staff was amazing! The grounds and amenities are absolutely beautiful. The apartments are very spacious! The community seemed quiet. I am definitely considering Courtney Bend for our future home!"

"Want a nice place to live? This is not it. Want a decent place to live? This is not it either. As you can see by the photos it is a wreck. The trash is like this 99% of the time. It's disgusting. Want to swim? Can't do that either, DHEC has shut down the pool and it is dark green most of the time when it is open anyway. Want maintenance to fix the black mold in your closet from a leak that is not your fault? Give them 4-5 months. After several visits from maintenance and them saying "we will be back in a minute, just getting the tools we need" and never coming back. It took me threatening to call the health department to get them to "fix it", now they have just left a hole in the wall as seen in the photos. AC broke in the summer making the apartment 89 degrees inside. Took a week to fix that too. Will not answer the phone or respond to maintenance requests. After it took a week to fix the AC I received no apology, no compensation for the hotel I had to stay in just to get some sleep. All this for the small price of $1700+ that sure is some luxury! Oh yeah, cabinets also scrape the ceiling, and the dishwasher is not level and scrapes the wall."

"The reviews that are 5 stars has to be fake. This place is a joke. They need to take luxury off of the sign, it isn’t even close to being that. The apartments look like they haven’t been updated since the 70’s. The appliances are old and on their last legs. Can’t get maintenance to do their jobs for whenever something is broken. It took 4 months for a light bulb. The ice machine still doesn’t work. They left a mess in the garage when fixing a leak issue from the second story apartment that took 11 months; left a huge mess on our personal stuff and never finished. The garbage is usually full on Friday night and overflowing. Our building has had an alarm going off for months. I checked that it means that a faulty of one or more faulty wires."

"I became a new resident to Courtney Bend in August, since the first time I walked in the door to ask about my renting options, I've felt at home. I've found the management and maintenance staff to be very friendly and helpful. My apartment was spotless and in pristine condition on my move in date, and I have yet to encounter any issues with my unit. The property of CB is gorgeous, from the beautiful palm trees to the luxurious pool I swear i feel like I go on a mini vacation every time I layout! I highly recommend CB as a safe, clean, and beautiful place to live!"
