"This place used to be great, but in the last 6 months has become THE worst place I have ever lived. The "security" gate has not worked and is left open, giving public access to the grilling area, the pool, and every other amenity intended for residents only. There is trash littered everywhere, dog poop covering almost every square inch of grass, the pool gate is held open by some people who don't even live here giving their friends and family free reign to totally destroy what was once a beautiful place. Now it's a trashy ghetto oh and did I mention that there are cockroaches throughout every building on the property, so bad they come out of the light sockets!!! I for one cannot WAIT to move so I can sleep at night again."

"Hyper expensive living in an area that caters to the retiree communities but the working class people need a place to live and this is one of the only, if not the only place to try and find a suitable, semi-clean community. The rents are ridiculous and they keep going up every year which is insanity. There is problems with some of the tenants here because they're not mature enough to understand other people's privacy as well as how to conduct themselves in the common areas. There is problems with cockroaches in the buildings as well and they have been since I moved in here 5 years ago."

"I moved to Palisades on December 23, 2021 and have had no reason to not leave a 5 star. The management has been helpful in situations of our water bill was messed up and made sure to take care of the situation. The maintenance staff is outstanding Everett is a genuine person and a good worker. The apartments are open floor and very spacious. The most open apartments I’ve seen in the area. I current just got a job on the island so I’ll be moving there. But the location here a Palisades is a solid mix of Hilton Head and Savanna. It’s 30 minutes to both and Bluffton about 15. So it’s a perfect central location."

"I recently moved in and I am very satisfied with the service. The office personal I worked with was Pam, very nice, kept me informed about the process and got me in my apartment as scheduled. The maintenance guy went above and beyond what I needed. His name is Everett, and for me it's great to know that I can be comfortable calling him when issues arise and his attitude will be the same, warm and welcoming."
