"Beautiful apartment with a great lay out and view. Everything is included in the rent so it’s a one shot deal. The only downside is the Parking which is too expensive which is sad considering most of the building is a parking garage lol but all in all a decent place to live."
"I was shown the apartment by Chrystin, the broker for the apartment. She communicates mostly through text messages, but did not refer to them when I spoke with her over the phone. The elevator does not work and she does not know when it will work (the steps are steep). According to her, the windows do not open. I decided against my better judgement to rent this apartment, because I'm tired of looking. She asked me for my son's SSN which I didn't know was required since he is a toddler. I asked to discuss it over the phone because I don't want to give any SSNs through a text message. She gives me a time, but does not call me at that time, so I call her and provide her with the requested information. I sign the lease which wouldn't allow her to complete it since my son is a minor and can't add a signature, so she has to delete his name, have us sign, then add it later which I did not confirm. I paid the prorated rent and security, because it was the only amount generated on the payment website despite her asking for an additional month's rent which is prohibited by NYS law. She confirms, then e-mails me about renter's insurance which is required by Redburn Property Management. I text her we already have renter's insurance, but will transfer it over once we move. She replies "OK! You just have to make sure it includes the details outlined in my e-mail. That is what the landlords here require" I text her a few days later, when our payment has posted, to inquire about our keys and a working number for the property management company so we can ask about adding a dog later since she was unsure about how to add a dog to our lease later. She does not provide me with a number, texts that we will receive a phone call, but might not get one until they have proof of renter's insurance. What does that mean? I have signed a lease and handed over $1900 despite you being clueless about any of the details of this apartment. Yet you have no name, number, or information as to when I will get my keys? She finally calls me to explain why she doesn't have any information, which I won't share because I don't care. Find it or give me the number to someone who does, if not cancel my lease which they do. When or how will I get the refund? Chrystin doesn't know, because Chrystin doesn't know anything. As the previous reviewer stated, this apartment building is not complete, Redburn outsources, so getting anyone is a hassle. I'll update when they actually give me my money back. Edit::::: I added a star for the property management company. My husband reached out to the broker to confirm our check was sent out. She said she would send an e-mail and by the next day, we still did not receive a response. I decided to call the general number for Redburn Property Management and pressed any button hoping to reach someone which I did. The woman was helpful, took my information, and sent out an e-mail for someone to help me. I received a response in less than 30 minutes! I don’t know what is happening, or if Chrystin is operating on her own, but I just can’t do business with them if they insist on working with brokers who do business the way she does."
"I moved in and instantly had issues with my apartment. The property management staff are super nice which is the only reason I give this two stars because it's not their fault. I wasn't told over the phone the property was under construction before signing and the work is far behind schedule. Definitely consider other options."
