"Scheduled a tour with Gia and she canceled the tour on the day of without any reason. I reached out to reschedule and she just ghosted us. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt after reading these reviews but nope they were right. I bet all the info about management are true as well if you can’t even schedule a tour with these guys. From reading all these reviews, these guys are all just obsessed with having good reviews (I suggest everyone read through them). They put their time into responding to bad reviews and even go to the length of trying to find out who the bad reviewers are. They have time to read reviews but no time to respond to texts? Typical responses to reviews from them would be “we have been trying to reach out to you, please give us a call so we can figure it out”. Well nice try Meridia Metro, your gig is up. Don’t just put up a fake meaningless responses and actually put your time into responding to your potential tenants actively reaching out to you. Get your priorities straight. Edit: Responding to your response. Great generic response. Why would I be a resident or even apply when you wouldn’t provide a tour? I wouldn’t know what I’m getting into except now realizing I dodged a bullet. I made time in my schedule to meet your availability and you still canceled last minute and made no efforts to reschedule even when I reached out multiple times. Nice try trying to disregard it as a ‘fake review’. You know what you did, I have a paper trail, and I gave you a bad review based on what you did, so accept your fault. The end."
"Nice apartments, lovely tour. Great pricing. Asked about application process. Got co-signer bc my credit falls short despite 8x income (understood) and applied. Don’t get decision back for 10 days despite 24 hour approval window. After gentleman in office nastily tells me to wait and that me paying $190 in application doesn’t matter, 4x income and 783 credit gets denied on Co next day. Despite hitting all criteria, denied application and it states income is not verified despite giving 2 forms of verification. Leasing agent says she’ll ask management for help every 3 days as if she never promised that for the past week. Just give the money back since you don’t have a legal reason to deny the 1 app. No hard feelings. Update: Offered me the $190 app refund and to reapply to take this down. Then when Nicholas, the leasing director contacted me, he admitted he had no reason to deny the application YET would still not honor the refund for my app, but was happy to approve us, yet a month later we already moved in elsewhere. After I refused to take it down after being lied to and only considered so we could apply again, Metro used my application to look at my employer name and write a bad review on my work Google page with my full name saying I was a jerk…mind you not only was the denial discriminatory but the response to the original review is not how the events unfolded. They then took down my fiancés review explaining what I am in this update, which highlights the concern she had about being denied due to her Jewish name… As Nicholas stated, the apartments are still available since we applied, so there’s no financial reason to deny paying and eligible applicants, besides the bias."
"Had a great experience with Gia while looking for an apartment. She was accommodating, friendly, and went above and beyond for my boyfriend and I. She made the tours quick, efficient, and came back to give us additional tours of other apartments we were simply curious about multiple separate times. Building was great (pretty, clean, decent amenities) and we will definitely be applying to live here."
"Moving to Meridia Metro with my son was an easy process. Gia and Natalie were very helpful and helped me to get everything set up.I like the staff they're very friendly, location is very convenient since it's close to buses from and to NYC and close to the Hackensack bus terminal where there’s buses to Garden state Plaza"
"My fiancé and I just renewed our lease for another year. We have a 7 year old daughter who loves living here as much as us! Whenever I have an issue (which is once in a blue moon) Management always responds promptly even on weekends. All staff are very friendly, they clean the halls spotless every day. The also host social events in the lobby, which is very nice! I love spending my time on the beautiful roof during the summer. The one and only negative thing I can say is the elevator breaks way too often and Is VERY slow. Other than that, I would highly recommend Meridia to anybody! (:"
