"I utilized Empire Radiator based off the recommendation from a friend. I have an old International Tractor from the late 50s that needed to have its radiator looked at. Ultimately it needed to be re-cored . The team was upfront about the cost and their fabricator called me to ask for photos and details about the mounting brackets that need to be mirrored for a proper re-install. Had a great experience, I didn't like the price (whoever does?), but quality craftsmanship is not cheap, and I feel I truly got what I paid for. Post install there are no leaks or issues. Temp gauge works, no issues to really speak of. Sam, Wendy and Jim were great! I would use and recommend them again."
"Jim and Wendy are great, they are my go to team for all my antique cores. They can also make heater cores for obsolete applications and rebuild AC hoses to modern specs."
"First. These folks were so kind and courteous! They were able to reproduce an item (power steering hose 2x) to spec. Finally. I estimate the overall benefit and savings of the service provided to me to be 1K+. Thank you Wendy and Jim."
"Amazing staff, helped me with everything I needed. They finished my radiator in one day. Full of honest hardworking people."
"Did not disclose verbally or otherwise until end of transaction where my object would have been held hostage, that there was "hourly shop charge". There was no mechanic shop medallion displayed in the "garage" to disclose they were a "licensed repair shop" so pretty much are running a racket on walk ins for a welding hose repair. Really basic stuff. Nothing complex or noteworthy. Was handed a hose that did not have the end ferrule replaced, he used the old component which isn't OSHA compliant. Unsafe repair, not what I asked for, forced to pay full rate. Go figure. He said "we all gotta eat, right?" Hope this helps you make an informed decision you have yet another boomer bending someone over the barrel for what should have been complimentary by industry standard maybe a $5 repair. Would not use this business again, he is setting his son up for failure. The photos clearly show what was and was not done. This is what highway robbery looks like, this is what predatory business practices look like. Should have been a totally different repair for that rate, with all new end fittings. Did not get what I asked for."
