"This review is for Thompson Park Living here was fine. No bells and whistles. Some of the apartments are updated and some are not. However, the real issue was having to threaten legal action to get my deposit back. I moved out on 9/29 and by law, my deposit check was to be returned within 14 days. Unfortunately, I had to threaten legal action in order to get my deposit check back. It was only after I threatened legal action that I got any response regarding my deposit check. I still have not received it."
"I lived there for 5 years & honestly other than maintenance not fixing things it was alright. I made do. However, then major issues such as leaks, plumbing, electrical issues started happened and nobody would want to fix them. I had MASSIVE amounts of mold growing in my garage because the dryer ventilation system is, it goes over the garage. Roof was leaking, dryer vent was clogged, mold. For months nothing got done. Thank god I get section 8 who eventually got me out of there due to failed attempts of getting things fixed. They tell you they bill you for water/sewer by usage of each unit which is ANOTHER lie. The city bills them per building & they have no way of telling what each unit uses. They also add money to it as well because before I moved I checked & the building I was in was only charged $400 for 3 months. Divide that by 3 & then by 4 for each unit & thats what it should be a month. They also recently started charging for trash which was in the lease. Everything has went down hill over the past year and a half. Get out while you can."
"First off, make sure you physically look at the apartments. We were several states away and rented based on pictures. They advertise as luxury, I’m sure everyone has their own expectations, they didn’t meet ours. The apartments are only partially renovated. Black stained vinyl floor in bathroom from previous water damage; hinges on doors rusty; and carpet all bunched up in places to name just a few issues. Also, please know if you rent from here they will try to change your lease midway through. They post notes on your door instead of calling or texting. They even posted a note saying I owed a late fee for rent when they made an accounting error. Total losers in the office. My wife and I are retired and are fine financially. We don’t need someone posting a note on our door for all our neighbors to see and think we’re deadbeats. Don’t rent an apartment downstairs because we live underneath the “Cloggers”, lol. No amount of complaining does anything. We are out of here ASAP. UPDATE: Sent certified letter on February 22nd stating our intention to move out. I received my receipt from the post office with a signature. Today is March 18th and I receive a call from the apartment management asking me if I was moving since we had a moving sale. They said they have no record of my letter. Just another example of poor management. They are all about the money."
"Honestly park stead is expensive was a good place while i was there to a point. But when i lost my job and had no money and 3 kids they wanted me out. Because i couldnt pay. And my husband only brings home alittle over 200$ a week that doesnt cover our electric bill for there so kinda messed up. And the windows leaked and caused mold in my 2 sons room qnd i have pictures of everything that was/wasnt like it should be when i moved in and when i left. Just every expensive and they didnt seem to care when a mother loses her job to no fault of her own and had a hard time getting money."
"Horrible place to live. Especially if you’re military I recommend on post or eagle ridge. Price is unreasonable and it only goes up after each lease. My apartment got robbed and they didn’t seem to care at all. We felt unsafe and asked if we could move units or to a different park stead and they said no we would have to pay the rest of our lease to do that. They said when we came up on orders come to the office to let them know. I let them know but because it was before the 1st they made me pay for an extra month even tho I already moved my stuff out I had to pay for a whole extra month. There are kids just playing on the street without supervision and random people just walking around that look suspicious and clearly do not live in the complex. They used to have someone named Juan who worked in the leasing office who was really nice and easy to talk to. Idk if he is there anymore of not but I kept having to talk to the lady and she was really rude and had attitude and just not pleasant to talk to. I do not recommend this place at all to anyone."
