"Every time I have gone into this place, only because it's late and everyone else is closed, the staff at the register, usually females, are so rude. They sit there laughing and smiling at the men speaking Arabic to them but then give me nasty attitude as I go to pay and speak in English. As if I'm bothering them. Just went in tonight and bought 4 items. The man behind the counter scanned one item twice. I noticed and looked at him funny. He appeared to be doing something on the register when I looked at him, I thought maybe voiding it..but I was wrong. I swiped my card and paid. I stood there waiting for a receipt while he just continued chatting on the phone and then dismissed me by saying goodnight. He never gave me a receipt so I had to ask for it. He looked annoyed as he handed it to me. I immediately noticed he charged me twice. I showed him the receipt and he said, no. I said I noticed when you did it, why do you think I asked for a receipt. He once again said no and then took the tiny bag he had just handed me and started searching through it as if I was lying. I had not gone anywhere, was standing in front of him the whole time and he still was insinuating that I had 2 of the item, and was hiding it or something. I then spoke Arabic. Wow, what a difference. He immediately said assaf assaf, meaning I'm sorry and refunded my money. These people are racists and if you don't appear to be obviously Arab, they will rip you off. Also, their prices are ridiculous. My mom wanted to buy bread and I made her put it back. Will never spend not even $1 in this store ever again. They are disgusting."
"no price tag and random high price given by cashier. no honest business for sure"
"This store is great! Under new management and renamed Alarabi Market, this store is clean and well-stocked. They offer camel milk - much healthier than plant "milk" water and the lowest lactose milk around."
