"This Hillside Ave location has had a huge fresh produce quality lift few months ago, ostensibly after management change. 'Today's special' adds to anticipation. This has weaned us away from the Hicksville outlet, which used to mean an additional 8 mile drive. Entire staff is well informed about aisle-wise inventory, polite and helpful. Find their bellpepper 'from Holland', pickle 'from Mexico'; etc. labels amusing. The Swad (private label) snacks are addictive and these guys are making a killing with sizable markups of these. Shalini, Joy, Ramoji Damodar label snacks are also very good. Essentially, one needn't stick to Haldiram's. Parking continues to be a problem beyond their control. If you're looking for assured parking and fresh-from-kitchen food, Hicksville is still your destination."

"Very crowded but better access than many other desi grocery stores. I do not like their frozen section it's cluttered with all kind of stuff making it hard to find a particular item at times."

"I feel my grocery is complete when I do my groceries from Patel Brothers. Everything is fresh. The workers are throwing away the bad veggies and continuously placing the fresh one outside from the box. The vibe inside is really soothing. The cashiers seems to be nice also. Most of the time we go on the weekends around 9:30/10:00am and we get parking right next to the store. Keep up the good work!"
