"I’m pretty sure this is the same child psychologist assigned to my child’s Early Intervention case to complete a supplemental evaluation to see if additional services were needed. To start, she was very inconsiderate when demanding specific items to have before the evaluation. At first I didn’t mind, and I tried my best to get everything that was needed, all but a certain picture book. She refused to let me use an alternative and boasted how her waiting list is long and she would reschedule the evaluation if I did not have all the items. My child who was receiving the evaluation has a twin sibling who is on the spectrum, and especially now with COVID all of the evaluations are done remotely. She refused to work with me and what I had readily available. Right before our scheduled time, my other child was just wrapping up OT and the therapist did his very best to clean up so she can start the evaluation. She was extremely rude, saying that she doesn’t want to see anyone or anything but my daughter. As my cousin was holding the camera for me, focusing on my child, just as the psychologist requested, I ran quickly to place my two other children in their room so my daughter can be free from distractions. My cousin followed my daughter around, again, as requested by the psychologist because she wanted to see her be independent to study her, she began to cry looking for me and my cousin guided her to me and said “she seems anxious” that is when this psychologist yells at my cousin assuming she was talking about her “I AM NOT ANXIOUS” my cousin explains that she was talking about the child. Then the psychologist proceeds to yell again asking for the “mother”. I came out and before I could even explain, she yells (again) “YOU MUST BE IN THE ROOM WITH YOUR CHILD AT ALL TIMES.” This lady must not understand that I have other children in the house; one with special needs, trying to complete a evaluation remotely for my other twin child. It was really inconsiderate and unprofessional of her. To have this person be someone who possibly diagnoses children with developmental delays and other disorders, she should show more compassion towards parents who are trying. This is NOT someone who should be evaluating children. Or evaluating anyone at all. Especially if she is going to make families feel worse and anxious than they already did. Work on your horrible bedside manner or don’t agree to do evaluations if you’re clearly having a bad day, Dr."
"We all know that while some words can kill, other words can heal. This is what Dr.Kishinevsky is excellent at - healing psychological wounds. She is a very well educated, an erudite person with wide horizons and real life experience. She is very professional and tactful. My only regret is not meeting Dr.Kishinevsky earlier- my life could be very different, but better late than never."
