"The environment is great, but the workers are terribly too old school. I get how they have to follow certain rules but to have a worker chase me down over bringing in my own shopping trolley and telling me I have to leave it outside is ridiculous. It's not my own fault that they have their own problems with whatever is happening, but judging from previous reviews it's clear that this place has a customer service problem. It's a shame to me because I am a local and I do come here for my own groceries but it just doesn't make any sense to me that I would be treated as if I had bad intentions in a grocery store."

"I always go to Hmart for grocery shopping, and it had always been a great experience shopping at Hmart. Today was the first time I was buying a lobster here because of the holiday week. I was shocked by the attitude that the Chinese man from the Seafood section was showing me. I asked kindly if he can help me in getting the lobster, and I am not sure why he answered in such a fashion with hostility and impatience. Then I picked a lobster that is bigger than the one that he actually gave me. He took the one that I asked for and changed it to a smaller lobster. I do not understand why he would do such thing, and it is the service I am expecting from Hmart. If he is unwilling to provide any service to the customer, I think it is better off that we can be given the tools on the side and self service."

"Great store for all Asian food. Cooked food, corn dogs and a full assortment of chicken and beef entrees. Comfortable seating to enjoy your food after purchase. Sushi and sashimi bowls available as well"

"The staff here is so rude. The lady who rang up my groceries charged me for three bags and stuffed everything into two easily breakable paper bags. I asked her to move some to the 3rd bag and she walked away, opened a new register and began ringing up the next person. Im standing there saying , "excuse me, miss" and she never looks my way again. Just leaves me standing there. Another cashier then asks me whats wrong and I tell her. Then she asks me why can't I unpack the bag and repack it myself. When I responded that its not my job to do that, she then did it herself and I just left. So unprofessional. A very uncomfortable experience."

"Have to drop my rating here. They up’ed their prices of cheap ridiculous stuffs by a lot just so they can have “sales”. I got a frozen spicy squid on sale that would normally sell for $12 (See picture) It’s worth probably $3 tops. I have had no bad experience at all here. The line could get quite long sometimes. Some things are overpriced but they often have discounts on other things. Service is always good. No free parking. Paid meter outside."
