"Best place in the area to buy produce! Lots of seasonal and exotic fruits, I get to eat fresh lychee all summer from here. Great prices on fruit and lots of sales so I can stock up and freeze extras. They also have an in-house butcher but sometimes they don’t do the best job at cutting the meats. Still, good prices on meat and I still buy it from here if I’m short on time. Good snack and instant noodle selection as well, I rarely go to supermarkets because Uncle Steve’s already has just about everything!"
"Nice selection of various grocery products and produce. When I told the clerk that she gave me the wrong change for the fifty dollar bill I gave her, she showed me the receipt that said $20 was spent. After I got on the city bus, the owner came running with the clerk onto the bus - they realized their error and brought me the correct change. It's so nice to see people who are honest. May G-d bless them with success."
"Really convenient, nicely stocked little grocery store open 24 hrs. Very affordable. Just a warning that during the summer it's not a good idea to buy perishables from there -- I think they have issues with inconsistent cold storage, the greens I buy from there always wilt unusually quickly and I recently bought a bunch of bananas that spoiled in one day. The cheese I bought also has a strange texture and my stomach has been bothering me after eating it. I don't want to leave a bad review because they're very nice people and it's a great store, but please be careful when buying food that can spoil during the warm months."
