"This has been 1 of my favorite places...not only favorite plant places but favorite places... since I moved to Union County NC 10 years ago.I noticed the Taylor Family Greenhouse sign while driving to my full time volunteer workplace and I subsequently discovered the Taylor's and their Family Greenhouse section at gardening events in Monroe and Waxhaw. They have introduced me to a host of of plants I knew nothing about when gardening at my former home just outside NYC and while I am not a knowledgeable gardener, (I have officially named myself The Oakleaf Hydrangea Serial Killer) I'm learning and Taylor's Family Greenhouse has provided plants that do well despite my lack of a green thumb. I will be relocating in the near future and will miss having such an exceptional resource nearby."

"Edit: I received a response 7-10 days later with a sincere apology. Emailed Friday at noon to see if I could schedule a time to come by to shop. No response. Checked junk folder and all. I will skip and continue on with my local favorites...Brownings Greenhouse, Greenes Nursery and Wilson Nursery."

"This Nursery is one of the smaller ones in the area but I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of plants they carry. I haven't found many of the plants they have anywhere else. Kristy is very knowledgeable and passionate about plants and gardening. She has a wealth of information about native plants and their importance to animals and our ecosystem. The Taylor's plants are well cared for, they use quality soil and nutrients. These are definitely not big box store quality plants. Check them out for yourself."
