"Quick place to run in and get what you need a reasonable price friendly shopping experience this is Family Dollar one of my favorite discount shops"
"I went into this store last week and there were many notable issues: 1. Aisles were unkept- merchandise was thrown all over the floor on several aisles. 2. Bugs- Cockroaches running across the floor on more than one occasion in my 15-minute visit. 3. Employees/Management- Taking personal phone calls on shift and making inappropriate comments to customers. Inattentive and indifferent attitude toward nearly anyone that approached them. 4. Inaccessible- does not take EBT despite Family Dollar as a company meeting the requirements. This is a nod to the fact that they likely do not want to go through the process of approval. In a community where many rely on this government assistance, it is unacceptable to overlook this."
"My mother was shopping at the hilltop store and approached the register with about 25 items in her cart, when the attendant told her she had to leave so she could lock up and unload a truck. She refused to take a few moments to check her out, insisting that she did not have the time. She told my mother when trucks come, they have to be unloaded immediately. I understand supply trucks are on a schedule, but it is the costumer who creates the need for the supply to begin with. If my mother had just arrived at the store, I could understand that too, but she was in the store long enough to select about 25 items, then told as she approached checkout, that she had to leave and was not allowed to be checked out. I made several attempts to contact management, but was always placed into a automated bottomless hole. My mother is 76 years old and had to leave her buggy and walk out. This is not how to conduct business or to treat customers, regardless of age. Shame on Family Dollar!!"
"They should shutdown and remodel and maybe more people would start shopping not just the regular customers. Also it would be nice to here a meet and greet upon entering the building. We deserve better than that"
"Awful! Boxes everywhere unpacked could not get through isles. Did not have things on sale on shelves and only one worker."
