"Mamais-Raptis primary concern is profit, not the patient’s best interest. I went for my annual physical which included free CBC, lipid panel (which she neglected to do and I had to go to a laboratory on a separate occasion) and vitamin D. The only blood tests I requested was Iron. Without my consent or even asking me if I had done other blood tests at specialists, she went ahead and ordered a laundry list of unnecessary blood tests (A1C, Vitamin B, TSH, Lipase etc.) and repeated tests I had already done at my endocrinologist’s office. Then, I received a huge bill for the tests. I called the office and was told the bill would be taken care of and instead got passed around the office without my issue being resolved. I am a healthy and very fit 49 year old female. Mamais-Raptis may have gained some money but she lost a patient and I would never refer her office to anyone."
