"As much as I do not like to leave negative reviews about a fellow Charlotte-based business; I must say that ELE Logistics is high on promises (but low on business ethics and real opportunity). For starters, the 85% starting payout on the surface looks tempting, but a weak spot market coupled with high deductions will put your truck under $2,000/week net most weeks. Also, when you decide to exit (this is where things get "interesting") the co-owner of the place and his brother-in-law might kick you off of the property while you're in the middle of returning their ELD to them. I had to move two trucks immediately to the Bojangles across the street because the owner had threatened to have them towed while I was turning in my ELDs. We're running payroll on our 3 drivers tomorrow. ELE Logistics refuses to give us any of our due settlement last week (no biggie; we're paying our drivers anyway). We're being charged for the full month of cargo insurance and the fork lift damage to a trailer (see the photos posted for reference). We can afford to "take one to the chin" but be honest with yourself fellow fleet owners; how many of you want to partner with such a company? I implore all of you to read through these reviews carefully and be wise. The regional OTR business model definitely has better options for the owner operator and the fleet owners so do your homework! For those of you who have read this review and try out this carrier anyway (and things don't go so well); you cannot say that the others before you didn't stick our necks out to give you a warning. I certainly was one of those people who ignored the warnings that I read on Google because "I just knew that I would be different and successful". Put down your egos and listen to all of the people that have given this place a one star. I can assure you that the five stars came from people who are related to the ownership family; and believe me it is a family and those who married into the family who runs the place. Take care my fellow drivers/owner operators and stay clear of the companies that only want to rob you."

"I seen ad/job posting on indeed. The only thing true in the flyer is that they will take your money. Then after not being given what you was told, once you choose to part ways they take your money and tell you they will reimburse you your money within 60-90 days. Reasoning is they have to make sure the factoring company gets paid. Which was not in the contract you sign. Very unprofessional. Save yourself the headache."
