"DO NOT USE, UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCREWED OUT OF MONEY!!! This broker deserves zero stars. Booked a load with them from GA to TN. I was hours early to the shipper and hours early to the receiver. The shipper and receiver decided to double the case count and then not compensate me for the added weight and product. I informed Spot of the situation, and they denied the claim, stating the shipper can ship whatever they want as the rate confirmation is only an estimate. When I opened a case on their website as directed by an employee at Spot, I was immediately denied added compensation. I also had detention at both the shipper and receiver. The tracker showed that I was 2.5 hours early to the shipper and 6 hours early to the receiver. The shipper held me for 3 hours past my appt. The receiver held me 4 hours after my appointment. I was again informed to open a detention instructed to fill out a detention form via their website. However, when I tried, the arrival and departure times were autopopulated and could not be edited. I submitted everything as per the rate confirmation in the time frame with a chain of emails and was still denied detention. This broker will do anything to screw the carrier out of money. I will NEVER use this thieving broker again and hope the day the federal government rains down on brokers like they have on drivers and carriers. Brokers get away with garbage like this because there is no oversight, so there are no consequences to their shady, illegal (unlawful) business practices."
